It's a sad, sad day. :'(
Although I always expected him to be killed by a croc.... Who would have known it would be a stingray? :-?

Wasn't there a toon version of Steve in the South Park episode "Prehistoric Ice Man?" Didn't he have a catchphrase something like, "and I stick my finger up its arse" when he cornered an animal. Can't remember.

He was in fact on South Park yes he was so that makes it on topic.
Also I have a female crock I did flirting with Steve that I could post to make it on topic.
But I don't think that is right at the moment.
You can take down the thread if you like.
But I had a need to show some sort of respect to the guy.
I am odd that way.

Yea.. the wife and I are big fans of his too....had a hard time getting to sleep last night... damn shame. But its his kids I feel bad for, he was a helluva a guy and his youngest is going to have little to no memory of him.

G'Day,
Yeah, the news really cut me up... :(
I don't think I've ever seen anyone (within the public eye) with the same selfless dedication and passion.
I grew up in the bush too and was always concidered a wild one (never wrestled any crocks though!!!) and always had dreams of being able to protect the land I loved so much, but never actually bit the bullet and devoted the time, effort and money into the cause. Steve on the other hand took the bull by the horns and accomplished more than anyone ever thought possible and never once seemed to weaken or be tempted by the easy, somewhat more selfish lifestyles that a lot of us Australians enjoy.
Of all the people in the world, Steve was the person I had always wanted to meet, I know that he would have been extremely inspiring and humbleing to me.
So long Steve! :'(
