I've spent my life dealing with hard and exact engineering sciences, then dealing with the excitement and frustration of the military, gravitating into trying to shape behavior and policy. All with the challenges of learning, but creating a need for relaxation and pleasure for it's own sake. Some find relief in music, fan sports or mindless popular movie/TV video. Yet, what is the basest drive but sex, and in cartoons we have an ability to drift into pure fantasy, where everything is possible and any extreme can be visualized.

It has been raw, unadulterated pleasure to watch JAB develop the skills to go from raw scribbles into full blown series that rival any studio. I'm in awe that he has managed to channel skills of drawing, artistry, character development, plot formation, and satiric twists and imbue them with irony, humor, lust, and a forbidden flavor. This collection of talents usually requires a complete studio.

My feeble scratchings and little vignettes are entirely intended as an homage and some form of support in line with my skills. And in using his characters, I get inspiration and help in developing what minimal skills I have.

I'm glad I can count on something every couple days to help smooth the edges off life.

Wow, I'm so late to this party.

People are pretty accurate about JAB; the man is god-like to me.

Well, maybe not god-like, but pretty idol-like.

Or probably just kind of cool. Yeah, he's a badass and if I wore underwear I would have to change them every time we talked. He's going to make a phenomenal prom date this year and I'm a really lucky girl. Since I'm not about to ruin his art with my own, I'll just post a pic he drew for me that I'm deeply in love with.
