I know we're all familiar with Master JAB's pic of Idunn, Norse goddess and guardian of the golden apples of knowledge (I'd post it, but I don't know if it's in the members section or not).  Why not more along those same lines?  With thousands of years of stories from hundreds of different countries there is a virtually endless supply of goddesses to be rendered both nude and slutty by JAB's holy pencil!  Never mind the added posibility of creatures such as mermaids, centaurs, gorgons...

So, whattya think?

The norse goddess Hel would be pretty interesting ... She was goddess fo the dead and Half black half white, (ie 1 half life the other death).  

There were some posts of Bast from the egyptioan mythos somewhere in the vast amount of old posts as well i think.

You know i never thought of that one before but i think it would be very interesting.   Not only that but it is something very rarely tackled by artists.  I'm all for it.

Here is a very quick sketch of Hel ... Not really happy with how it turned out .. its too...... Plain I think.  Doesnt really look like a goddess.  Oh, well, I'll have to revise her and start over.  But for now there is at least a pic in this thread!

This is a good, clever, creative theme, but it might be a bit too esoteric for some of the die-hard animation/cartoon fans on the forum. If Notherfan or Enigmawing could be convinced to participate, perhaps more mainstream interest could be generated.

Hey I had forgotten bout this tiny lil thread.  Looking back I was a little rushed and some things like porportion are a little off, but it was fun playing with some of the stuff.  Wow.  July.  Seems like forever ago.
