The contest theme - "Sci-Fi" (Not fantasy)
Please read all the rules carefully, if you have any questions please feel free ask.
Rules:
1 – All story must have a Sci-fi/Porn theme. All stories must be new; no older works will be accepted. Parodies of TV-Movies-Books ARE allowed.
(By Sci-Fi I mean a futuristic story based on futuristic technology)
2 – Color is preferred but B/W is acceptable.
3 - Comics submitted must be 5-7 pages in length with a cover page.
4 - All entries must be posted in this thread by the due date.
5 - Voting on the contest entries will be done by the forum members with an online poll in this thread after all the entries are posted.
6 - The intent is to create interaction with artists and writers. Teams are required to come up with a team name. If you need help finding a teammate please ask Blue.
7 - An artist and a writer cannot be the same person. In other words, you can't write the story and draw the art yourself - it must be a team effort.
8 - Posting the progress of your comic is permitted and encouraged. If you wish create a thread in the Contest forum using the following format- "Progress Entry of ((team name))". You will post your final entry in this thread.
9 - If you choose to be the artist or the writer then you must stick with that. You cannot swap half way through the contest. You must stick with your original position as either the artist or the writer. The writer may also be the colorist. Contestants may only participate with one team.
10 - The deadline for entries is Midnight, October 15, 2008. (Pacific Standard Time)
Prizes:
The First Place winning artist and writer will each receive $100.00
The Second Place winning artist and writer will each receive $50.00
The Third Place winning artist and writer will each receive a one month membership to JABcomix.
The prizes will be handed out by Jaded Blue.
A personnel note; I am starting this contest because I love the art, the artists and the writers in this forum. I love Science fiction and I love porn art. I hope that you all will join and enjoy all the possible new comix created for this contest.
