It's rough, like a sketch should be, but it also shows great potential. It's very technically well done, and you've managed to give it that distinctive anime look that I've never been able to quite get right due to it's subtlety.

If you could ink it and clean it up it would make a wonderful coloring project.

All in all it's a great drawing, Tenchi. Bravo. :D

pretty good for some first trys. got kp close too (i have trouble even, despite the skills i have).
unfortunately the oinly advice i could give is try a few how to draw books. they can give you some help. but developing your own skills is a crucial part of drawing.

i wish you the best of luck man. I want to see atleast one new artist flourish here, as I did.

Thanks lib. I found this one cool link in the dead parts of the jab forum and it had a one web site that gave me lots of tips on how to do KP the right way. I printed out a few of the model sheets they had some good tips on what to do and what not to do.
I all so have this one book that I have been useing to try out stuff. The name of the book is " Mega Manga, the complete refence to drawing manga"

Im getting ok at doing hands and feet and heads but I just dont get how to make good looking bodys.
Also my anime eyes look really lame and I fined mouths to be really hard to make look good.
The female body is really hard to pull off, I dont know how Jab just makes it look so simpal.

Don't worry about being a "noob" and draw to satisfy yourself before others. You've got a great start, especially since I can see that you use guidelines and markers to form your characters (I definitely recommend you stick to that, it really helps with consistent proportions). Both of those art books look great for learning the comic book style art that goes with super heroes and fantasy, I'm sure they'll help a lot.

A D&D fan eh? I used to be obsessed with the Forgotten Realms campaign ^_^

Keep up the work tenchi, I hope to see more of your progress.

maybe he means copy as in try to recreate every illustration on your own paper, because I know a good way to practice drawing is copying a piece of art line for line until you understand the style and structure behind it. It's sort of like going into a museum with a sketchpad.

or maybe he seriously means to scan 96 pages of the book o_O

try drawing the same stick figure from that page but draw a different person or character over it.
the wooden art mannequins are very helpful for different poses as well, i'm sure you can find one at any hobby or craft store for a cheap price.

You don't need any fancy program for photo editing if you're just scanning your sketches. Before uploading your art, paste the picture into MS Paint or use some other default image editor to crop out all the extra white space. It makes your drawings easier to look at and the files much smaller.
