I think this is in part a very special thread, a person who has inspired so many and was continually going to do so passed away sunday. As far as comics go i think Tello's was one of the most whole hearted comic books ever created. From every panel drawn there was a type of spirit included in his characters that was almost tangible. It's a weird feeling because this man's work is just full of life, in everything he did. When somebody's artwork is so distinct and unique and beautiful it's just weird to think that it's gone forever now. I hope that somebody takes the time and care to collect and put together a tribute to this man and his life's work because it is truly one of a kind and goregous.

I saw that he had passed earlier this week and was very upset to hear he had gone. His DA was recently updated and his latest journal was full of life and Hope. Since he went of a heart attack he prolly went quickly. I think his work with spider-man was some of my favorite and I am gonna buy a copy of Spider man and The Fantastic four as soon as I have the cash.
Thanks for sharing this here rob. Although he wasn't the best well known artist he was well loved and I know I'll miss his work.

To RINGO!!!

well at least he left behind something of a legacy. and strangely, if he hadnt passed away, I probably wouldnt have heard about his work until much later, however now he has another appreciator, even in death.

The man was 44 I couldn't believe it, what an artist I remember reading his artist tips in Wizard not only was he a great artist but he had great humor and was one of the best at working timing into any joke he drew to increase the humor of the joke. I'm rambling on because I really loved his work, what an artist!!!  :'( :'( :'(
