Im new here, and i thought i'd post a story that's embarrassing for me.

while in India backpacking, me and my girlfriend were staying at this place just north of India in Nepal. before we left for the backpacking trip, all i could think about were tigers, and how much i wanted to see one up close, but my girlfriend said that i wouldn't have the guts to be near a tiger. Lucky for me, there was a National Park close to where we were staying and a part of the National Park was out of bounds and illegal for anyone to walk into because of the Tigers and animals that roam there. Being a rebel, i jumped over some gates, climbed over some barbed wire, and quite surprisingly, dodged a number of guards :o I crouch and start to walk slowly, making silent deep breaths, and start peering around trees to see if anyone, or anything is there. At this point i felt like Indiana Jones, which is quite sad, cos' what happens next is something that Indiana Jones would certainly never do :-/ so i carry on pacing, and then start jogging, and then come to a halt. In front of me there are two tigers, relaxing on a huge rock, and yawning away. I scream out "TIGERS" and they swiftly turn their heads towards me and bear their teeth. At this point i shit myself, and shout, and eventually start to cry :-/ i thought i was gonna die :-[ then someone forces me to the floor and tells me to stay still. it was one of the National Park guards. I get a fine for trespassing, and am given a warning. The worst part was the Guard telling my girlfriend that i cried like a little girl, and then her gloating and saying "i told you you would cry!!" :-/ ;D

Yeah you cried, but you had the guts (or foolhardiness, take your pick) to go and see them for yourself. You can never be accused of being a wannabe, because you actually did it.

Still, you looked upon one of the largest predators on this planet without any protection, so shitting yourself, I think is understandable.

Well, under normal circumstances, yeh defecating myself would be more embarrassing than crying :P, but when backpacking you generally have to settle with going to the toilet outdoors :o so that part of my experience wasn't really that bad :D just threw away the shorts i was wearing, and i was sqeaky clean once again 8-) hehe

Nice to meet you Blaque Omen.  Always a pleasure to see a new face around here.  NOw with that said and done...  :o :o :oARE YOU OUT OF YOUR FUCKING MIND?!?!?  Holy crap!  Tigers are basically the ultimate preditor on land.  Every ounce of their being is designed to hunt prey, and we are a few steps below them on the food chain.  Lucky for us, we've invented the boomstick to get a little distance, but still. A wild tiger... Hope i didn't offend you at all.  I'm actually quite impressed too.  It's just... IT'S A FUCKING TIGER!!!.... I tip my hat to you sir.  

I am now slightly inspired and shall go ride a shark.  Thanks for sharing the tragic tale of an embarresing momment.  That takes a lot of guts on its own
