Well...the name's Harley, for wich I'm called cause' I can't stand motorcycles and bikers. The real name's Timmy Sotir, but Harley just stuck after about 15 years, and I've accepted it. I've been drawing the G.O.S. series since college, wich I started doing for money cause' I was broke, and starving, and it was then that I realized that I never want to do art for money EVER again, cause' when money comes into play, I start hating everything about it. The triplets, who are my main stays were born when I drew twins in a life drawing class in college, and I've been hooked ever since. I chose my favorite names for females, and let my imagination fly from there. That, coupled with my love of realalistic *non paris hilton* looking women, freckles, and the British, and well there ya' have it. I started drawing when I was 6, and oddly enough the first thing I ever drew was the Challenger Space Shuttle blowing up, cause' I was home from school that day, and it seemed to have quite the impact on me. Mum' still keeps them, and celebrates them as "The begining of it all!" Sounds creepy, but I'm her son, and everything I do is great *shrug*
2. What brings you here to JAB?
Great work, nice people. Since I've been here, I've learned a lot about my own stuff. Holes in my pieces that I've since plugged from observing art made by people who clearly have a better eye than me. And everyone's just really, really nice, even when constructive criticism comes into play. A great place to show off works of mine, that would otherwise be snubbed by the "art community"
3. What's your favorite hobby? (You know, besides the whole toon porn thing.)
Well, I've been a drummer for about 20 years. I'm currently gettin' back into it after a 3 year layoff due to left elbow problems...and I'm a lefty, so I didn't wanna' do any perminant damage that would ruin my ability to grip a pen and pencil. I play Baseball during the Summer...Lets Go Mets!. Oh, and drinking Beer...that's a great pastime of mine too
4. If you happen to be an arist and/or writer, what inspires you? If you're an art appreciator, what is it that keeps you coming back?
Inspiration? Being at work...I seem to do my best stuff when the last thing I should be doing it drawing. As far as what keeps me coming back. Like I said, great work, nice people, and fresh ideas bouncing all over the place
5. What kind of things would you do if you suddenly became a billionaire?
Pay some bills, make sure my folks never have another financial worry for the rest of thier lives, and just draw, draw, draw...cause' I wouldn't have to work anymore
That's me in a nut shell...if you care to learn more, check out my MySpace page...

As far as being a drummer, and trying to follow Vinnie Paul...well I'm not a Pantera fan at all, and I think they did a lot to make metal the broke ass form of music it has now become, but the dude was doing triplets with his feet...two beats on one, on one the other to make triplets...*speechless*

1. First of all, tell us a little about yourself.
well I am a guy, I am a print media student, I am real tall, but I am real nice.
2. What brings you here to JAB?
Honestly, boredom. I have looked this board over a few times, and finally decided, "what the hell" and signed up.
3. What's your favorite hobby? (You know, besides the whole toon porn thing.)
I have a lot of hobbies, I am a gamer, I draw, I write, I play nerdy games, like magic the gathering, I like to lift weights, and play paintball. I can't really pick a favorite.
4. If you happen to be an arist and/or writer, what inspires you? If you're an art appreciator, what is it that keeps you coming back?
I do a bit of both, for drawing I don't really know, Ill just suddenly get an Idea. For writing, well I am writing one long story about a dream I had. maybe it will be a book someday.
5. What kind of things would you do if you suddenly became a billionaire?
pay off student loans >.<

1. First of all, tell us a little about yourself.
Vemetric, Cogz, and a variety of Robot names all have been used to identify a particular art student turned teacher in the Tri-State area. I was originally destined to be a physicist or engineer, but thanks to the fateful guidance of a high school art teacher, I learned about Design and the myriad of fields which are dependant on it. From there, I decided I would be a mad scientist instead! I've worked in the medical field making wheelchairs, in architecture doing high end retail metalwork, and now I own a small laser etching/cutting business doing marketing and advertising for the music and film industry. My illustrations are all born out of my product design days, and I am told have a very technical bent to them, but I suppose that's for the audience to decide.
2. What brings you here to JAB?
I've admired Jab's artwork since I was probably illegally downloading the work on my older sister's computer years ago. Once in college, I stayed a healthy distance from a lot of porn, if only for the fact that my friend worked in the gayest porn video store in the city... and I don't joke. But I came back to Jab after school 3 years ago and have lurked ever since. I've finally decided to get involved because, well, I'm rather insprired by Enigmawing's tale of self-inspiration through forum participation, and I am lighting the fire under myself to improve my art and become a more sophisticated (Hah!) illustrator through delightfully crass materials.
3. What's your favorite hobby? (You know, besides the whole toon porn thing.)
Well, I'm first and foremost a mad scientist, always trying to find the newest weird science to play with, and have a total obsession with all things steampunk. I have a motorcycle, love rock climbing and recently have started retraining my gymnastic skills for trying out "Parkour" (which I highly suggest everyone look up Parkour Escape and Cambridge Parkour for a quick primer). I have been a brown belt in Kempo martial arts, but found my personal beliefs led me the way of pacifism and I am now completely pacifistic. I suppose, in the end, my favorite hobby is being awesome.
4. If you happen to be an arist and/or writer, what inspires you? If you're an art appreciator, what is it that keeps you coming back?
Inspiration is a funny subject. Honestly, I have had a desperate lack of inspiration for about 3 years. While I worked as a teacher, my students regularly inspired me, but since leaving the job, it's been hard to find that spark again. My friends in the City have helped, but that's because they are amazingly talented and in and of themselves are very inspirational. I really find the greatest inspiration working with others and helping others become awesome.
5. What kind of things would you do if you suddenly became a billionaire?
I can tell you right now, that money thoroughly sucks to have when you're me. You constantly know where it should go, but you are forced to make the decision to *not* do the samaritan thing and help others out as not to financially cripple yourself. If I were a billionaire though, I would start that Artist Arcology I've been concepting for years. I would also likely fund several publishing projects my friends are working on and have a complete steampunk suit of armor commissioned.
Thanks for being an awesome crowd! Peace out!

'ello boys and gals! My real name's Masumi, but you guys can call me rose. I'm half Japanese and half Scottish, born and raised in Edinburgh Scotland until I moved to New Zealand when I was twelve. I work as a game designer, mainly with concept design and creative work.
2. What brings you here to JAB?
I really like Jab's comics on the site and especially the old parodies he used to make. I joined the forums because I love browsing through the community's creative work, especially looking at artwork from new artists or reading submitted stories.
3. What's your favorite hobby? (You know, besides the whole toon porn thing.)
Obviously, I tend to play a lot of video games
4. If you happen to be an artist and/or writer, what inspires you? If you're an art appreciator, what is it that keeps you coming back?
I like to read graphic novels and comic books whenever I need inspiration for a project I'm working on, since it usually gets my creative juices flowing. Stories with strong and dynamic characters really interest me, and I'm a sucker for intricate or unique plotlines.
5. What kind of things would you do if you suddenly became a billionaire?
I'd buy my own island in the Caribbean and build a nice house there for my family and friends. I'd also travel around the world in search of Carmen Sandiego, and of course take photos and souvenirs along the way.

1. First of all, tell us a little about yourself.
People call me Kalle (and my real name is Zanma), and I'm a Swedish guy with 1/4 japanese blood in me. People here are free to call me Serkai, Kalle or Zanma, whatever floats their boats. I'm 24 years old, and live in Sweden (with plans to move to japan, though). I worked as a military educator, teaching people how to shoot properly and how to quickly kill in close combat, before the swedish government decided they didn't need the military anymore. Since then, I've started my own working place, buying junk-cars, cleaning them up, and re-selling them for a less-than-average gain. Not the best job, nor the best income, but it keeps me alive. I've got a large parrot that hates me, and a couple of fishes in a bowl that tries to eat me if I put my fingers in the water... Hm... What more can I tell about myself? Oh yeah, I enjoy playing games, mainly japanese erotic games, as well as reading japanese mangas and watching japanese anime. Well, to put it bluntly, anything that includes the japanese style of animation is interesting in my eyes ^^ Well, if there's anything else you want to know, don't be shy, just ask ^^
2. What brings you here to JAB?
Well, this is one of two non-japanese style artists that I've seen that I actually liked (the other being old-school disney, before they began using computer animation), and as such, I figured I'd pay my respects by joining up ^^
3. What's your favorite hobby? (You know, besides the whole toon porn thing.)
Well, I wrote a book once... Not anything serious, it features a small man with hairy feet, and his epic quest to destroy a ring in a distant volcano... Well, more seriously, I translate japanese-2-english as a hobby, and lately I've begun writing scenarios for a few visual novels that I might release if I ever deem my writing skills to be good enough. The main thing, however, is tabletop roleplaying, where I'm a dungeon master for the multitude of groups that play where I live. It's fun as hell ^^
4. If you happen to be an arist and/or writer, what inspires you? If you're an art appreciator, what is it that keeps you coming back?
Well, fantasy is my thing. Fantasy and high technology, preferably mixed as one. That, at least, is the world I introduce my players to when we roleplay. I might not be an artist nor a writer, but I still considder myself a rather good storyteller ^^ When it comes to art and what makes me come back... Well, that would be closest described as gut-feeling. I can't really describe it in words, but if I like the art, I'll be returning, and if not, I'll be staying away. Simple as that ^^;
5. What kind of things would you do if you suddenly became a billionaire?
Well, first of all, I would return to japan and buy all the volumes I'm missing in the multitude of japanese mangas I've got (hate having empty spaces between volumes in my shelves). After that, I would probably hire a freelancer artist (preferably one I admire) and engage in project Twilight Soldier (a scenario I've completed that I intend to make into a manga/comic if I find any artists willing to work on it). If there was any cash left after that, I would buy an island and have a self-designed mansion biult on it.
That would be it from me. As mentioned above, if you wanna know anything else about me, let me know, and I'll gladly answer your questions.

I'm 31, and I own and run 3 video stores; I was previously a soldier, and am currently studying for a degree in media and film production, as well as being about half way through a semi workable script. All in all, I'm a fairly quiet person, who spends most of his day taking care of the businesses from home, drinking the odd pint and really general arsing about in any way that doesn't involve actual work; above all of my career endeavours, there's always been the slightest hint that I'm a slacker, and I guess that it would, for the most part, be true. I'm British, but try and avoid being here by going somewhere else at least 3 times a year if I can.
2. What brings you here to JAB?
A little bit of perversion I guess, a little bit of lurking in the community and mainly being a fan of Jab's artwork since I came across it a long long time ago when I was in university the first time.
3. What's your favorite hobby? (You know, besides the whole toon porn thing.)
I like playing MMORPG, Drinking games, I like to attempt painting (although I'm more of a landscape/architecture artist than the type the majority of people here seem to focus on), model painting, and programming. Photography and movies.
4. If you happen to be an arist and/or writer, what inspires you? If you're an art appreciator, what is it that keeps you coming back?
What inspires me? errr I don't know. I get inspired by real life instances that I can elaborate on, natural beauty...even other stories and scenarios.
5. What kind of things would you do if you suddenly became a billionaire?
>.> Probably pay jaded blue a couple of million to give me a lapdance, and even let me shoot her (camera wise) if she'd let me. The rest of the money? eh. I don't know. Breed a squadron of war monkeys.

I'm 28, from England and am lucky enough to be engaged to a total hottie
2. What brings you here to JAB?
I first came across JAB's work many years ago in a Yahoo group and fell in love (and have never fallen out) with Judy Jetson and Rita Mae mmmmm! after far too long lurking in the darkness, i've decided to step into the light!
3. What's your favorite hobby? (You know, besides the whole toon porn thing.)
I don't really have a favourite hobby, although i do enjoy hiking and getting out into the great outdoors.
4. If you happen to be an arist and/or writer, what inspires you? If you're an art appreciator, what is it that keeps you coming back?
As an appreciator, it's the inspiration and skill of the artists who post here that keep me coming back.
5. What kind of things would you do if you suddenly became a billionaire?
I'd probably put a decent chunk aside to finance some fully animated episodes of Farm Lessons and Ay Papi, the rest would go on travelling and a huge villa in Italy with it's own vineyards, although Absolom's war monkeys sound cool. Maybe i could have some trained dancing Badgers.

Well an average sized male. Living in Tampa Bay, FL right now but my job as a clothing designer lets me move all about the country but mostly work from home as of late. I wouldn't want to move from here if you put a gun to my head. I used to live in a dodgy area but my new townhouse is fantastic and great for people watching.
2. What brings you here to JAB?
I stumbled on the old "Jab Archives" when I downloaded a GIF in the early 90's of Arial. I kept the site bookmarked until it went down which lead to a constant search in altavista, yahoo, webcrawler for anything related to JAB. Then I found everyone here. I signed up for the forums and well, it was such a long time ago. When I started drawing again just recently, I wanted a place to post my "private" works. This is a great community for even quick sketches that I can't post on facebook.
3. What's your favorite hobby? (You know, besides the whole toon porn thing.)
Guitar, sculpture, clothing design and baseball, swimming, people watching and writing.
4. If you happen to be an arist and/or writer, what inspires you? If you're an art appreciator, what is it that keeps you coming back?
Well, being in the clothing industry there is only one type of girls that work around here so that's mostly what I draw. I also live on a walking route to a popular beach here in TB. I see a lot of weird looking guys and hot girls as they pass by (some of the weird guys are with the hot girls) and it really inspires my style of cute plastic girls next door and bizarre looking guys. Oh... and of course everyone's comments of my posts are inspiring. It really motavates me to keep drawing and knowing that other people will be looking at it en masse, I think it encourages me to add some more finish and polish to my drawings.
5. What kind of things would you do if you suddenly became a billionaire?
Billionaire? Hot cars, big house, and parties every night? Naw... half would go to eradicate a disease and the other half I would invest (real estate, small businesses, and manufacturing). Boring? Yeah, but my job is really awesome and I would do it for free.
