I love Boondocks!  And that theme song is great.

Just a quick aside... because I looked for it...

"I am the stone that the builder refused
I am the visual, the inspiration
That made Lady Sing the Blues...

I'm the spark that makes your idea bright
The same spark that lights the dark
So that you can know your left from your right...

I am the ballot in the box, the bullet in the gun
The innerglow that lets you know
To call your brother sun...

The story that just begun
The promise of what's to come
And I'm a remain a soldier 'til the war is won

Judo Flip, chop chop chop (etc)"

1.  First of all, tell us a little about yourself.

Not ready to reveal my real name but I can give you a hint, I have the same name as a celebrity ha! ha!  I am 28 years old and I am happily married for 6 years living in the Hoagie capital, New Jersey.  I have two jobs.  As you know from the name on my handle here, I am a driver for UPS and yes I have plenty of desperate housewives who dig the shorts.  I am also a freelance artist who has been commissioned to do all sorts of things.  I earned my bachelors degree in Animation from Savannah College of Art and Design and I seldom use it because of past personal reasons.  Don’t worry, things are looking up now and I am getting back in the game.

2.  What brings you here to JAB?

My first taste of JAB cartoons came about 98 when I saw raw nasty sketches of “Alice and Wonderland”  in a binary newsgroup.  Damn that was HOT!!!!  After that I did some searching on the web and that’s how I ended up in Jabvillle.

3.  What's your favorite hobby?  (You know, besides the whole toon porn thing.)

I love to YOYO!  Been doing it for 5 years now.   I used to have job just standing in a toy store and demo the Yo Yo’s for kids.  I am also working on a comic book for an up coming convention with no porn can you believe it!  All I can really say is my art is my hobby.  I have a full time job now and when I have time, it is all devoted to my art.  I even draw on placemats in diners.  I don’t mind when people look over my shoulder.  This has lead me in cool directions.  Such as offering drawing lessons.

Take my right hand away I will draw with my left.
Take my left hand away I will draw with my right foot.
Take my right foot away I will draw with my left foot.
Take all my limbs……well lets just say I have a very talented lead pencil. ;D

4.  If you happen to be an arist and/or writer, what inspires you?  If you're an art appreciator, what is it that keeps you coming back?

Right now I am especially inspired by the whole growing community on this forum.  Everyone here possess great ideas from stories and imagery.  I have no other creative group where I live so you guys really pull me through.  Of course I have to mention some favorite animators who I am inspired: Chuck Jones,  Tex Avery,  Don Bluth, Ralph Bakshi, not to mention the Nine Old Men,

5.  What kind of things would you do if you suddenly became a billionaire?

Pay all my debt off.  Pay all my friends debt off.  I would help as much people as I can.   I want to be one of those guys that can brighten a workers day at a restaurant by slipping a $5,000 tip.  My next move would to by a farm or a place where I can be self sufficient with energy alternatives.  Simplify my life and continue my never ending journey by submersing myself in a sketch book.  After I have all this and what ever money remaining, I would continue to help more people who are meaningful in my life.

Thank you E for suggesting this idea.

1.) I'm an aspiring artist with a BA and a love for all things geeky! Comic books, video games, RPG's, anime,... you name it, I'll play it! 2.) I've been a fan of JAB's art for years and visited his free site often. When he went to a pay site I was hesitant to join but ultimately glad I did! 3.) Drawing, collecting comics, playing video games. Ya know, basic geek stuff. 4.) Well drawn art of beautiful sexy women (especially in kinky positions and situations) inspires me to no end! 5.) If I suddenly became a billionare, I'd quit my job, get my own apartment, and start my own comic book store/company. [Haven't decided on that part yet.]

1.  First of all, tell us a little about yourself.
Heya kids. I'm an aspiring screenwriter and on occasion i do some improv. I'm single, and a weird mix of  joyful optimist and depressing realist. I'm much too nice and have made a pledge to be evil this year. I think i may design a plan that involves my slapping a nice celbrity on camera. Hmmm maybe Dick Clark!

2.  What brings you here to JAB?
I lurked for years and happened to notice the forum on day while seeing how much Jab's site had grown. I missed drawing which i hadn't done well, or regularly, since high school and forced myself to post some pics to get back in the habit.

3.  What's your favorite hobby?  (You know, besides the whole toon porn thing.)
I'm such a gamer! If you've been sniped online. Odds are it's my bullet.

4.  If you happen to be an arist and/or writer, what inspires you?  If you're an art appreciator, what is it that keeps you coming back?
As a writer seeing as story done well is so rewarding. If you're ever really studied Joss Whedon's shows such as Buffy or Firefly you realize what a master of misdirection and character he is. It's inspiring to know that kind of writing can actually be made when so much entertainment is drek. Writing that makes me happy, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Gilmore Girls, Battlestar Galactica and in comics the Ultimates, Planetary, the Authority. Check 'em out!

5.  What kind of things would you do if you suddenly became a billionaire?
i dunno. I'm happy with very little. Hmmm probably make some movies, buy a theatre. Or maybe squander it all to make myself a unit of Iron Man armor and be the worlds first superhero.

1.  First of all, tell us a little about yourself.

I'm me, I'm from the center of the universe (aka NYC) and it's very hard to pigeon hole me into one sepcific type of person. I'm a sci-fi geek who drinks and goes clubbing every weekend. I do a little writing, I play-role playing games, I'm a martial artist and I play alittle soccer when I get a chance.

2.  What brings you here to JAB?

A friend showed me some of the Ay Papi comics and I enjoyed them so I decide to come check it out. Unemployed right now so I can't afford to sign up yet but soon hopefully.

3.  What's your favorite hobby?  (You know, besides the whole toon porn thing.)

I play a lot of video games and as soon as I get a job it'll be back to WoW for me.

4.  If you happen to be an arist and/or writer, what inspires you?  If you're an art appreciator, what is it that keeps you coming back?

I'm a writer mostly sci-fi and everything inspires me. I try and make my stuff really character driven so I try to watch people to come up with personalities. Living in New York is great cause you see all types here.

5.  What kind of things would you do if you suddenly became a billionaire?

By my mom a house and a car, buy my sister a house for her and her kids, pay off my grandparents maintenece for their condo till well I don't like to think about it. give some cash to my brother and my aunt and uncle and then the rest is for me. I'm pretty minimalist I'll probably get an apartment in new york and a car then a bunch of technological items and invest the rest.

1.  First of all, tell us a little about yourself.

Lets see...Well hell where do I start?I'm turning 20 this june...I am currently enrolling in the SF Art Academy as a Animation/Game art Student. I deny the fact that I am a massive geek to anyone but my real friends. Kinda seems to ruin the sex appeal. I'm pretty independant and I've been told that I am a odd person...Though I think me being a artist qualifies as odd right off the bat. I have a very odd sense of humor and it tends to get me in trouble since I never seem to know when to shut the hell up. It's the whole sarcasim thing I guess... Can't ignore it. I've been drawing for as long as I could hold a pencil, though only within the last year have I goteen anywhere near decent . I was raised all over california but have spent the last 6 years in a tiny little town called Patterson and my apartment in SF. I have a 3 year old son named Arrik...
I love comic books and such...My passion is drawing animals and until about a year ago I never once drew a single person. I love horses and used to train them. I have around 7 dogs, two cats and a bird named Pepsi.
Cause I am a dead on caffiene aholic

2.  What brings you here to JAB?

Actually my BF signed me up for this...he figured it might help me out of the massive 6 month artistic slump I had been in for awhile. And for those who have seen my work...You can see
It's helped ALOT

3.  What's your favorite hobby?  (You know, besides the whole toon porn thing.)
Reading...My 3 year old
I'm still pretty young so i have a fondness for anything that gets me away from the house and chores

4.  If you happen to be an arist and/or writer, what inspires you?  If you're an art appreciator, what is it that keeps you coming back?
Better question....What doesn't...
If I went into what inspires me I'd never get off this thread..
Though I will say that when the muse calls...I listen because she might end up smacking me for it later
Artist Block....*shiver*

5.  What kind of things would you do if you suddenly became a billionaire?
I have one dream...
I want 5 horses...One horse from each of the last "Wild" Horses on the planet. So I'd go an buy
1. A Mustang
2. A Australian Brumby
3. A French Connemara
4. A Irish Cammargue
5. A Arabian Barb

After that...I'd prolly donate whatever was left to helping out aspiring artists like that romance artist Who's name I can't remember
And the rest to the Wild Mustang Foundation
Because those horses go through hell and I am a sucker for helping animals
Why not better aid the struggle to world peace you ask? Cause only a nuclear meltdown can bring that about...After we're all gone
World Starvation? I thought about it...Dunno how well that will go though.

1.  First of all, tell us a little about yourself.

Well I just turned 30...A milestone of sorts.  I run my own Hobby Gaming Shop (Warhammer, D & D, Magic etc...) I am a huge fan of Anime and Comic Books.  I am out going and have been told that I have no shame...which would explain why I love to go to Karaoke.  I am not an artist, I can't draw to save my life but I love looking at others work.

2.  What brings you here to JAB?

Other then the obvious...I am a fan of Jab's work and wanted to be part of the community.

3.  What's your favorite hobby?  (You know, besides the whole toon porn thing.)

I like to paint miniatures for the games that I play.  I've been told I am good...but its all subjective I guess. And I play World of Warcraft...its kinda of an addiction.

4.  If you happen to be an arist and/or writer, what inspires you?  If you're an art appreciator, what is it that keeps you coming back?

I just love to see an artists progression in skill.  Nothing is cooler then seeing that growth over time.

5.  What kind of things would you do if you suddenly became a billionaire?

Travel the World...and never stop!

1.  First of all, tell us a little about yourself.

My name's Jeffrey. I'm 28 years old, and currently in the US Air Force. I've been stationed at Nellis Air Force Base, on the northern edge of Vegas for the last 3-1/2 years. In just over a month, I'll be transferring to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, with a 3-week bout of leave with my family in the midwest. I'm a military brat, a Trekkie, a SciFi fanatic, a comic book nut, and a complete and utter geek. Except I go to the gym and run like three miles every day. (Running sucks. I hate running.)

Before I enlisted, I went to college for six years (part time, so I'm still like a year away from my Bachelor's). I worked as an editor for several newspapers, including the San Gabriel Valley News Group in Los Angeles (publishing three daily papers - SGV Tribune, Whittier Daily News, & Pasadena Star-News), then I transfered to Iowa State and a job at the Ames Tribune. I got laid off from the tribune after 3 months, when they hired a new Editor in Chief and had to lay somebody off to afford the guy's salary. I was the new guy, and hadn't finished my degree yet... so off I went. I enrolled in Air Force ROTC, but because I wasn't a technical major, I couldn't get a scholarship. So after 2 years, I couldn't afford to stay in on my own, and I dropped out of college and enlisted, only to get sent to the Gulf about six weeks after arriving at my first base (not normal, but we were about to invade Iraq). A few months later, I was back home, and have been here ever since.

2.  What brings you here to JAB?

I've been a JAB fan for several years, and have actually been with the forum for nearly 2 years now... I just never really posted anything until just recently.

3.  What's your favorite hobby?  (You know, besides the whole toon porn thing.)

Like I said above... I'm a Trekkie, a SciFi fanatic, a comic book nut, and a complete and utter geek. I build and repair computers for fun. I program web sites. I'm trying to get my own comic company started...

4.  If you happen to be an arist and/or writer, what inspires you?  If you're an art appreciator, what is it that keeps you coming back?

Everything inspires me. Life inspires me.

5.  What kind of things would you do if you suddenly became a billionaire?

Pay off all my bills, especially that $30K in student loans that's taking up nearly half my paycheck every month... Then I'd never have to worry about paying for parts for my computers.  ;D

Oh, and for that Billionaire question... I briefly considered becoming a high-tech vigilante, but Bruce and Tony both seem to have that covered. Besides, the military's got my DNA on file... a secret identity would pretty much be fracked the second somebody cut me and I bled a little... ;)
