your poem makes me think of this .I hope you like it as much as I yours :-[ :)

lovingly carved in place from a lonely monolith deep in a primal virgin  forest. The image is of the mother with large sweet breasts and beautiful sweeping round curves. Arms hang down and hover lovingly about the belly , protecting .
The belly is rough brown stone lumpy veined and coarse but is perfect in its roundness.
The mother is smooth pale granite she seams to glow with life as if she would swat any careless hand that would dare touch her precious burden with less than love .
In the center of the belly where the button would be the artist hand again shows it self.
A small perfect oval a portal.
Inside is the wild chaotic beauty of creation it self a wild random profusion of color and angles curves and lines.
A geode  the womb of the earth.
