It's not bad for a rusty work, Jeff. Her lower body is rather well done. I'll look forward to your new stuff. :D

OK. First work in a long while. Heeeere's Snake-Eyes!

Snake-Eyes

Sketched this during lunch yesterday. Spent maybe 10-15 minutes on it. My lunch is only 30 minutes, and I know I spent at least 15 eating.

I've fixed the broken Imageshack links to point to the pictures' new home on my web site's own image gallery:

http://jeffreysworld.net/gallery

The Adult section of that is hidden, so the only way to access it is via direct link:

http://jeffreysworld...ery/v/art/adult

Enjoy!

OK, for whatever reason, images linked from the image gallery I set up on my web site aren't showing up. I'm trying to fix that, but for the moment, I guess you'll just have to clicky the linky to view my gallery...

Yay! After much mucking around with the .htaccess file on my Gallery installation, I finally got it to let jabcomix.com display remote images (it was previously blocking anything but http://jeffreysworld.net - including http://www.jeffreysworld.net, which lemme tell ya, was mighty frustrating).

So you can see my files now! Yaayy!!

Thought I'd share a bit of a retrospective of my art...

Back when I was in college, before I enlisted, I was the cartoonist for the campus paper (as well as Features Editor, Online Editor, Copy Editor, Reporter, & Photographer, among other things... lol)... Here's some stuff I did back then:

And some old stuff I did for my comics:

I hope to have some new art finished and posted sometime soon...

And the retrospective continues...

I was going through some of my old art and discovered a few pieces I hadn't scanned in before. So here they are!

I was inspired to do this portrait of Yesenia, a girl I went to high school with who is now a model on the East Coast.

Awesome work on all of these, Jeff. I love your superheroes as always, and I hope your friend gets to see this portrait cause it's wonderfully well done. :D

I did some new stuff today at work.

The first piece I did during lunch. It's just a girl in a dress, though you can see the influence from that Jessica Rabbit photo I found a few days ago.

Posted Image

The other image was a quick sketch (maybe 2-3 minutes) of one of the other aides that I work with. We were sitting outside while the kids were in an assembly. We'd been talking about my art, and I'd showed her my sketchbook (which has a few things in it, but I keep the adult stuff in a separate sketchbook that doesn't go to the school with me). She was interested in my portraits, and asked a lot of questions about posing for art. After we'd talked, she kind of stared off at nothing for a while and I drew this sketch.

Who knows? From some of the questions she was asking, I may end up having her pose for me for a full portrait.
