GI Jeff:
Sorry for not commenting before, but I'm intrigued by the comic's progress and pleased you're sharing it with us.
Thanks.

Fortunately (sort of), I hadn't made much progress on drawing the comic's pages... so when Bliss' drawing of my characters was posted, I was inspired to make some tweaks to the costume designs. The only piece of art that I'd drawn so far with their costumes was the cover, and I was never completely happy with the design of that in the first place. So I'm sketching out an idea I had for a redesigned cover, with the newly-tweaked costume designs:

Whatcha think?

Thanks for the sneak peek, Jeff. It is so cool the way your drawing contain so much action and movement. Good job!

Wow these are coming along great. The new costumes are kickin'
I do like the new take on the cover better. Thanks for keeping us updated.
Good luck with the book, I can't wait to see it!

Didn't get much work done on the piece this weekend, but I did get a little done (mostly at dinner last night)

Rather than continue on with the sketch, I'm just pressing ahead and working on the cover itself. I tweaked the poses slightly, and I'm happier with how Singe & Versipellis are looking now. Since I'm drawing this on an 11x17 blueline art board now, it's kinda hard to scan, so I just took a picture, with the original sketch to the right.

In the Drawing Suggestions area, there was a request for GI Joe ladies. As requested...

That guy has no penis!
Seriously, the shoulders and collbarone area look a bit masculine, and the breasts are practically receding from this angle.

Yeah... I'm a little out of practice. That's the first thing I've drawn in months... hopefully, the next one will be an improvement.
