Woah. :o
This may be the same old story to some of you, but forgive me a sentimental moment here. . .
I hadn't had my first computer for very long that December when I decided it was finally time to look up JAB's artwork and indulge. It was something my penpal SK had introduced me to way back around 1997 or so. The gorgeous computer print-outs he snail-mailed me continued to haunt my mind for years.
I had always liked the concept of. . . well, nekkid toons regardless. . . but unfortunately, I also harbored quite a bit of guilt over sexuality in general.
I feel kind of odd saying this but it's never really been about the porn. I carried the need to express parts of myself that I kept bottled up in more ways than one, and this site has become an amazing and much-needed outlet for me. Why? Because I've found I'm not alone. I'm not the only one who relates to mere lines on paper in such a way, looking to give life to concepts and characters, and I'm not the only one to look into this as an escape for the curious inner workings of my mind.
So not only did I get to see and find some kind of connection to JAB's artwork, I stumbled upon this forum as well and I got the chance to meet all of you. I came up with the name enigmawing on a whim, not realizing that the alter-ego and the subsequent character with the hat and glasses would become such a big part of my life. All that time ago when I recieved those print-outs, well, I had no idea that it would somehow be the eventual key to all of this. I'm amazed and honored to be a moderator of this website among so many wonderful artists, writers, and more importantly, friends. Wow, just. . . wow. I know I keep using the word amazing but I really don't know what else to say.
To get the all the feedback and support I've received here has been a wonderful experience. I had pretty much given up on drawing, so without all of you, E and most of the gemgirls wouldn't even exist, Amber and Amethyst would be nothing more than a handful of awkward drawings packed away somewhere, and there certainly wouldn't be any stories about purple dildos or semen-powered time-travel vehicles.
So to everyone, thank you for having me, and thank you giving me the motivation to find peace within myself and return to the things I'd almost forgotten I couldn't live without.
. . .
Alright, enough of this sentimental crap. Bring on the nekkid toons!!!! [smiley=evil.gif]

It's been a pleasure getting constantly trumped by your animation knowledge. Once we were enemies and now we are friends!
Nah, not really but it's so anime!

I thought I'd take take this moment to say I won't be online nearly as much until I get my personal life figured out. . . . and while I've been known to say that recently (because the move keeps getting put off) I really do mean it this time. . . because let's just say. . . life got a little bit crazy. :o
Rock the fuck on. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
