I've just now read that famed comic and pin up artist Al Rio hung himself yesterday morning. This is a terrible loss for his friends and family, and for the art world as a whole. :(

Wow. I really enjoyed Al Rio's work and to hear this tragedy is very sad news. He was a very talented individual and will definitely be missed. May the heavens embrace him and bring comfort and peace to his family and friends.

So sad to hear that such a tremendous talent took the coward's way out. (At least that's what i was taught suicide was.) Still, my condolences to his family and friends.
