I'll start by apologizing for posting in this thread but the forums won't allow me to start a new topic.

I used to do some drawing years ago under the name "KJ". Later on I found out there was already someone using that handle and I felt pretty bad for the other guy since he had a pay site and I probably caused some confusion. I haven't checked the wwoec website but my stuff used to be hosted in the guest art section of Yewdee's site if anyone's interested. I did some Braceface, KP, and a few other toons before real life kept me too busy to draw. So that's who I am I used to have a handful of posts here but looks like posts were purged.

I was wondering if anyone can help me out with some information about what's been going on online in the last few years? I've been out of the loop for years now. Having your own business tends to take up a lot of one's time. I used to be active in newsgroups, usually abnt (a.b.nospam.toons), but that group seems dead and the artists that used to post there have disappeared. With all isp's having dropped binaries and newsgroups in general as part of their internet services, is there a website or forums or something else that people have moved to? I found a website with Pal in the name, not sure if this is the same Pal from many years ago or not. I could've swore that site had a forums. Where do folks share pics and show their work now? Just trying to get caught up.

If anyone's suspicious about me, send me a message to the email that's on my old pics. I'll reply back. I can see how this post can be seen as too nosy.

Not sure if you remember me Jab, but you and I had a short exchange about my KP pics right around the time you started drawing KP yourself. That was a big moment for me. Jab emailing me out of the blue Anyways, thanks for reading my huge post and to anyone who replies.

There are new comics and a lot of old content still in the pay area, and there are designated areas to post your work on the forums where people can give you advise or just tell you how good it looks if that is what you need.
One thing is for certain, you'll be glad you came back.
Look around...but watch where you step...you might get stuck to the floor.

Hells yeah I remember you. Welcome back. Like fester said, you can post here. Newsgroups, I have not visited in a long time. No need to anymore. Although, last I checked, my ISP still provided access to them.

I suppose you can say that things are settling down. Comix sites are opening and establishing themselves. It's still the wild west, but not as it used to be. DeviantArt is cool to share your stuff. I'm on there and I will gladly watch you, however, you will have to post PG-R stuff, not rated X stuff there. Here, you can post X-XXX stuff.

Anyways, welcome back and hope you stay a while.

I saw CheoD posted a pic. Nice to see a familiar name from the abnt newsgroup So still unsure about where to be posting pics but I'm gonna take you up on the offer and post here Jab. Haven't sat down to draw in probably 8 years so not sure how bad my stuff will turn out. Guess we'll find out shortly ^^; Hopefully I'll bump into more familiar names too.
