Thanks to all of the great forum artists that participated and I hope you all had fun making as well as opening your gifts to each other. I'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
I think you may notice an omission of one of the artists. Trying to find a randomization process that didn't end up in an artist drawing for themselves was arduous and when one came up where I was the duplicate, I decided to give up and stick with that one. In case someone couldn't complete their drawing due to time pressures, I was going to do the drawing for them. This randomization process is duplicatable so if you have a Secret Santa that you can't figure out, you can use the process to figure out who they are!
SINOPE'S REPLICABLE TRIPLE RANDOMIZATION PROCESS (patent pending):
1. Assign a number to the last letter to each person's name. (A=1, B=2, C=3 etc). Delta Echo got an "O" as zero will not work.
2. Take the logarithmic value of that number.
3. The first two floating point numbers are their Artist position.
4. The third and fourth numbers are their Requester position.
5. Place the Artist positions in descending order.
6. Place the Requester positions in descending order.
Example: SinopE gets assigned the number 5. Log 5 = 0.69897004.
Artist Position = 69
Requester Position = 89
