Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot etc... Delta Echo = D.E.? I was a big aviation geek when I was younger.

yep. i was an air traffic controller (radar) for a couple years at the beginning of my 6 years with the air force. DE were my operating initials. feel free to call me DE, it makes me all warm and fuzzy. haha
