LOL! After watching the season finale. Thing is, would I give a shit about watching the second season, if there is one. Last season just gave me everything I needed know about the murder house and what happens to people who go in. It seems like murder house story is over and now the focus is about the psycho-toddler.

Actually, it's been announced that the murder house is done ( and we'll probably have to assume Damien.. Er i mean the anti- christ will live a very happy life). i'm glad season 2 will not involve constant infighting with these ghosts.

Season 2 will be a completely new story with new characters. The actors may return, but in a completely different role. And the producer hinted that it may not involve ghosts but other creepy things.

Awesome! So it looks like the show will deal different classic themes of horror, probably in each season. That's a relief, as long as they keep the intensity, unpredictability, and twisted story, the is on track!

I just finally watched the season finale tonight and I have to say it was a killer. That's good news from the producers about the second season, cause I really couldn't see it going any further than this in the house. Not unless each episode was all the ghosts fighting over what to do with the next tenants. I do kinda like the idea of the second season following the kid around. That way it's still connected to the first season, but at the same time can be it's own entity. Either way, season one was AWESOME!

Okay so news,

Jessica Lang is officially confirm to return in season 2 as the main lead to this... Yes it's a completely new ghost story.

In addition, Zachary Quinto will also return as Lang's nemesis.

I love a good ghost story, and throw in nudity and murder and you got me hooked...but after 4 episodes it seemed to bore me.

I don't know, I had a nagging suspicion what was going to happen as I watched it and when it started happening the way I thought...I gaave up on it.
I hope the next season will keep me guessing.

Also mention in the announcement is that American Horror Story will never feature vampires or werewolves. In addition Season 2, will feature 'reinvented' types of ghosts and mysteries from season 1. When asked if the story of the Harmons have ended, the producers Hinted that they will return at one point.

JKR, Thanx for the update, at least some familiar faces will show up. Thank gawd, a show without the use of vampires and werewolves. No offense to the vamp and were community, I just think those types of creatures are played out.
