What I mean is that users rarely actually read, sorry for the extremely late reply.
and just because it's pinned doesn't mean they'll find it faster or actually access it, only those very interested will bother looking at it but you'll have a high chance that people just come to read those updates that have pictures in them and comment on that. That's just taking knowledge from being a forum moderator in a game forum, where people rarely listen, some do, but many don't, and that 2nd part out-weights the other by a lot.
