Hmmm....seems like we are approaching another hiatus regarding new content. If there are extenuating circumstances please elaborate.

the lack of updates is almost becoming a joke. i'm not interested in sketches. yes they are nice but if you have time to make those then you should have time to finish what WE pay for.
You run a business, you charge us for a product, and so far it isnt being delivered.

you take OUR money in a timely fashion, ON TIME EVERY TIME! yet we wait and get fed Bulls**t
i can understand there has been certain outside problems and i have felt for you guys, but NOT anymore. there is letting things slide and there is getting robbed blind and atm i feel like i'm getting robbed blind.
i honestly think this is why you guys have a problem with piracy. because you take so long, people think. ok fine i'll cancel my membership and wait for someone to post it on another site.. you still wait as long. but dont have to pay thru the nose for it.

Personally i would rather pay, HELL i would pay more if it meant faster updates. i honestly would and i think other members would too

The comix drought continues. Why not post content from other artists associated with JAB? There are many unfinished projects which could be reactivated to fill in gaps. I'm going out on a limb now but I believe the main reason why most of us signed up for this service was to read comix and the sketches are of only secondary interest.

I think mainly because JAB right hand man ( or left. Mark could be the right) Rickfields has been missing for some time now. From what is known, he's responsible for many of these comics. I don't know where he is, but i hope he is okay. If he remains missing, it'll be fairly difficult to find another artist as good as Rick. I know JAB picked up Galaga early this year and he too went missing. Cunt just finished Omega Girl and is working on the next issue. JAB may have picked up Niicko and Tapdon to work on comics ( as we speak) as well as pinups. He may also have picked up more artists that have yet been announced. We'll see of course.

very helpful information. thanks Jkr. that's what people must know, so they leave the staff alone and they stop to ask annoying question.

Annoying? I think, for the most part, we've been more than patient and understanding. Look guys, let's face it, this is a business. The minute our money is taken, a contract has been made. And I'm here to tell you that if I (in my professional business dealings) knew that one of my suppliers was in default, had lost a key resource, and had not been forthcoming about it, that supplier would be dropped in short order.

So let's be clear: for the last several months, we've mostly been carrying JabComix on faith and with, for all intents and purposes, a loan of cash for product not delivered.

I've been one of the faithful, but enough is enough. My recurring paid account will now be dropped. I just can't keep paying for nothing. It's not just bad business, it's the essence of bad faith shown by JabComix, et al, that has soured the deal.

Okay you two. You're both members and just because you say it doesn't mean it's true. (in this case, using the term 'we' and 'they' does not mean you represent the people or that the questions are annoying). If you wish to continue arguing, take it to the general discussion.

JAB can't tell members how to spend their money, that's up to you. If you feel it's not worth the money, sorry to hear that. JABcomix doesn't keep your money hostage or take it without permission. And you can ask for a refund on top of that. This site, like every business, only offers a product. You guys decide if it's worth purchasing.

With all due respect, this discussion area "Questions and Comments about JabComix.com" is where a discussion of this nature should be taking place, and is. Sorry if it is uncomfortable for Jabcomix staff to read it.

And while I never indicated that my views represented the majority, I'd be surprised if it didn't.

For me, it's a moot point now. Paying membership dropped.

JKR, Jab, you and the other artists here are beyond exceptional. I've never had a problem with the quality. But I'd just ask you to really be objective and honest in reviewing the amount (or lack thereof) of product being put out for a paid membership. Comments like "Jab can't tell members how to spend their money" isn't productive.

Sorry it had to come to this, I really do enjoy the quality work. Not just here, but on sites like yours as well JKR.

Well thanks. I'm not saying you can't ask a question or comment. Getting into a fight with your fellow member.. Not appropiate here. That's what i'm getting at.
