FANNUM: Sinope and fannum are collaborating to spin a fantasy about the high school relationships of Eric Booth, Richard Harvey, and girlfriend sisters Eileen and Claire. Look for some football, teen angst, heavy petting and a JABville championship celebration orgy.
SINOPE: Woot! First team to form.

Its slow going. Fannum has been out of town and I just got stupidly busy making hockey jerseys for five teams. Fannum has pages 1-3 written out and now I've gotta bring them to life. Hopefully I can do this in between embroidering! Those damn hockey jerseys take over 2hrs to finish one and I can't seem to get much done in the meantime. Anyways. Team SinFan is going for AyPapi. Here are some quick sketches of 80's versions of some characters and a new slut added to the mix. I'm not sure how I'm going to do 30-40 drawings in only 21 days! Its going to be tight!

We're not happy with Claire's hair so I'll probably change it up a little to match Jab's version. Noses! My bane. I'm going to try for a more Jab like nose for these characters.

A lot of work there.
Designs look good. I hope you can finish.

Sinope is being too coy, and he's too shy about his amazing talents. When you see his later takes on the characters, he's got them captured spot on! These preliminary character sketches are mainly to lull the potent pack of competitors into a false sense of well being.
Yeah, it's hard to live up to all the expectations given all of JAB's epic stories, condensing all that into a mere seven pages, but we've bounced ideas back and forth, and have all the pages and panels roughed out ... with the first three well underway.
I had a long awaited, enjoyable family commitment that was wonderful, but not conducive to working on projects of this sort in a small cabin, borrowed computer, and lots of church going kiddies ... I'm already the weird uncle. (No, it was not like JAB's Camp sketches!) Add to this, two broken vehicles in distant places, with complicated, expensive, time consuming recoveries.
That said, we be jammin'!
Look for some wild twists and character intros that would make Hitchcock raise his eyebrow!
Cheers

Excellent characters, dude. I can't wait to see and read the pages. And hopefully the contest end date is extended so you can put your very best feet forward and knock it out of the park. Definitely looking forward to seeing this one.

Unfortunately, Sinope has discovered that the demands of his life are too great for him to properly apply his considerable talent, and Team Sinfan will have to withdraw.
At the same time, the last three months have been spent developing and laying out a story that can be executed in around 30 panels if any cartoonist wants to bring the tale to life. The pages are laid out with dialogue, descriptions and in many cases, draft sketches. Julio has generously agreed to allow any new team the use of his character and panel sketches and considerable other contributions.
The story is an Ay Papi prequel. Time period, High school years for Richard & Claire, Eric & Eileen, plus Joe Schmidt, black James, and Chester. The guys are on the HS football team with Chester as trainer. Eileen is head cheerleader with little sis Claire on the pep squad. A few other characters have been introduced to add intrigue, anticipation, lust and a good dose of bawdy sex, while remaining true to JAB's spirit and guidance.
We have five weeks ... and it will take hard work and a talented cartoonist. I can contribute modest skills in the production with my very basic Adobe skills, which I am eager to expand.
Please PM me if interested.
Cheers, fannum
