Its been a horrible past couple of months but I'm sorta back. Thanks to all the well wishers.

Here's what happened...

Late May, I was on my way to Las Vegas for a Hockey tournament when suddenly I had a panic attack. I made it as far as the tarmac when suddenly my mind went insane. They stopped the plane and I was rushed to the hospital.

For two weeks I was stuck in bed unable to do anything but sleep and cry. It was absolute agony as my mind would go into a panic attack four or five times a day. For the next couple of weeks after that I was able to move around and get a little bit of work done but every once in a while I would have another attack and huddle in the corner in uncontrollable tears. I was only able to get 3-4hrs of sleep a night for the whole month. The constant fear and fatigue kept me in a constant state of agoraphobia.

After about two months, I sort of recovered. I'm super sensitive to caffeine now (even chocolate milk sends me into a panic attack) and I can't play hockey anymore (the adrenaline rush is too much for me to handle). One comfort I had was in drawing which I started up again.

I have no idea what happened. The doctors and psycologists have no idea. I'm a pretty even keeled guy... maybe too even keeled???

Anyways, here's some drawings I did recently. I've been keeping tabs in the comings and goings here and was glad to see everyone's art!

Whoa... been there myself, man, truly sucks the big one and yes, the sudden-onset form can leave the experts shrugging as to specific cause... good to know things are improving, follow your caregivers' advice and it's controllable.

But we're happy you've been able to deal with it partly by going back to producing these fine pieces of work, you haven't lost any on that aspect!

Spinner High, eh? Heh, they do look like I'd like to take them for a spin...

Thank you and be well!

I'm coming late into this, having been preoccupied by some issues of my own, and out of town/touch as well. I'm bummed at your trials, and can sympathize, although mine didn't hit me as young.

I've been a staunch fan of your artistry and humor, and especially your clever characterizations. I'm honored to be working with you in the upcoming contest, and each of your "Trudy" personalities will fit right in.

Cheers, buddy
