I asked Siggy a couple of years ago if there was a way to link the update thumbnails to the Signup Page to stop this question from being asked constantly! Could you guys look into that possibility so you can 1: get more subscribers and 2: spare the rest of us!

The problem with linking thumbs to the signup page, is it might be confusing for members, and there's no way to tell who is a member and who isn't until they log in.

True, but you also risk losing potential members ( especially if Jabbers decide not to answers their question. There's too much reliance there). You also risk the chance of JAB calling them out for being underage (or whatever). Whether it's true or not, it looks bad in front of members and potential members alike.

How about linking it directly to the page in the Members' Area, then add a "Not a Member?" button to the "Authorization Required" pop-up which redirects to "Join Us"?

The best way is to add a disclaimer on every update that says these images are in JAB's paysite.
