All I can say, is I spent about 700 on the ipad when it came out, and I could not be happier with it. I never think of it in terms of tech specs. All I know is that it holds my entire music library, so all my music is available to me in a nice interface and in an instant. It also holds movies and tv shows of all sorts of different resolutions and it plays them all back smoothly and instantly. I can buy both music, tv and movies very conveniently right on the tablet without having to transfer anything If I want to do it that way too. It lets me browse the web. i HONESTLY do not feel that lack of flash has adversely affected my browsing experience. I have a gazillion comics, pdfs, images, photos that are look gorgeous on the display, and I can enjoy them instantly as well. Jab's website and comics look amazing on it, its my favorite way to browse the site. You tube is fast and easy and in a nice interface, giving me essentially endless video content at my fingertips. And finally the app store gives me a near unlimited range of applications that can do just about anything. Games run great, productivity apps run great, I can't think of a single negative experience I've ever had using the ipad. A simple rectangle display that's bright and brings me every facet of multimedia instantly and seemingly effortlessly, all the time. Legit 10 hour battery. And what I like the most about it is that the touchscreen and multitouch just flows really smoothly and with a great sense of finesse that I have yet to feel in android devices. This wont always be the case, but for now every android touchscreen device I've used has a sense of lag and jittery-ness that ruins the experience for me. The ipad just flows, flawlessly. I love it. It's entirely worth the money I spent, and at this very moment I think it's worth the investment over any competition it may have. But again, this wont always be the case. Other touch OS's are getting better and this year will see a freaking army of competitors that will most definitely bring something good to the table. But for now, iPad's where its at. I've loved every second of it. There, that's my review. Hope that helps someone.

Is jab comix on IPad or would I just have to read them by going to the site from the IPad?

I just got a Sylvania tablet and it works pretty good. It isnt better than an Ipad but it works ok. I can't wait for the day when big namebrand companies start selling their tablet for like $200 or $300 bucks. what the fuck is up with $800 bucks and they are suppose to be the future. and yes the jab site shows pretty good on the tablet.

@ FB

my thoughts exactly , a while ago i read about a 50 dollar tablet pc from india , while we are paying CHINA drugdealer prices when we need the jobs in the states ...FUCKING CHINA AND THEIR 3rd world country ass >__>

for 800 dollars you would expect them to put in a 100 gig harddrive or higher , but NOOO we are paying them for 32/64 gigs.. and that is TOO DAMN small for me to deal with .

i think ill goo with a 1.5 GHZ refurbished 60G hd laptop which has a touch screen for only 300$
