You already know... 3 comics in a while means a lot of waiting for each one.

Tell me if this is wrong, please.
1 update each comic every 9 days (3 for AP then 3 for DA amd then 3 for OG)
AP needs 15 pages to end, 15 x 9 = 135 days (4,5 months)
DA about the same...
etc...

So we will see the ends in March... O_o

A very long waiting in my opinion, sketches and extra content can help, but as a member this is a sort of torture.
At least I hope for a Xmas gift like a daily update for 2 weeks at least;-)

right, well it is quite a mess here but two of the three comics are drawn by JAB, so you're getting more JAB-drawn content than you would in any other given four/five months in addition of having Cunt's and Amy's beautiful art compliment JAB's during those months.I don't see that as torture considering how much JAB-drawn content is involved in those months, but I understand the issue here as a member.

Assuming things run in the correct sequence, DA would end in March 21, OG4 would end in March 24, and AP15 would end in March 12 (Which would mean March would be the ideal time to get membership). However as I've learned, nothing here is sketched in stone. Updates are based on what is ready, so some content will update faster than others. Thank you for your patience as JAB continues the update and thank you for your support.

No problem. You can also wait til December of 2011 and get more comics.

Again, not everything goes as ideal (since JAB tends to enjoy surprising members in updates. He's probably reading this and thinking how he can change it up.). Some content does go faster than others and may finished earlier or much much later than expected.

In my opinion, having a membership supports the artist. Supporting the JAB comix staff is meaningful to me so I want to continue to renew my membership and everytime there's an update, it's a treat, plus I'm a chatroom addict now!

Piracy or getting a one-month membership and downloading all the content is just disrespectful to the effort the artist put into the entertainment of the intended audience. I don't want to call anyone disrespectful, I just find that conduct disrespectful. I understand that there are probably some people who don't have the money for a membership, I myself find things tight with school on occasion, but I find JAB's prices reasonable to keep a consistent membership and I find he constantly gets better with his own artwork as well as his choices in staff for artists, line-artists, colorists, etc.

As a artist myself holding down other jobs and life obligations, I can't imagine obliging daily updates for any reason and unless JAB broadens his staff (which would probably increase membership price), I'm pretty happy with the setup he has now.

:) Keep it coming artists and such! I love the comics!!

Of course it's good to be able to support the artist, and of course piracy is disrespectful, no one is questioning either. But I don't think it's fair to expect people to spend their money and be told they should take the attitude of "well i get what I get". Obviously the main issue here is with the frequency of AP updates, and especially considering that it's a pay service and AP is the site's main advertisement, then that's a very valid frustration.

I honestly keep renewing my membership because i love the community. I get so much out of seeing not only Jab's art but all us other artists who are inspired by him. I think this place is worth the membership costs in how much we all collaborate and learn off of each other and give each other support, don't you think? I think there's a reason why Jab's art is so coveted online and quick to be sought after by non members. That primarily is the reason why the update system has to exist the way it does in the first place. So I don't have a problem if the pages come slow because I feel privileged to get to be one of the first to see them. I dunno, it feels kinda special that way. Does anyone else feel this way?

THAT, and things like hoping to catch being logged in when Jabs in the chat doing requests and getting to see sketches that wont ever show up anywhere else, and those one shot surprise updates that happen every so often, that makes the slow progress worthwhile to me. I totally understand the valid frustration you guys have, totally, but I guess I'm glad that for me personally I'm able to get a lot out of everything the site offers besides the comics to make me continue being a happy member.

Okay this went off topic.

The question wasn't why you have membership, but if it was true that Ay Papi could end in March/April. The answer is possibly. The earliest it could finish is December and the latest is unknown since the comic could be stretched out forever.

Relichunter is mathematically correct IF the content ran correctly in its cycle. But since JAB is updating Omega Girl faster than Dat Ass and AyPapi, OG will most like finish before the other two.

This is all very well said and good, but in all honesty :

Money doesn't grow on tree's.

If you have the money to afford the membership monthly for 3-4 new images, by all means continue renewing, I myself barely subscribe once a year, due to the slow update time on images.

It's a shame really, considering this is the only website I have ever paid for, it's the only website I constantly check, and it's the absolute best art work I could hope to see on the internet for what I enjoy reading and looking at.

The stories are amazing, and the art work is top of the line, I just wish we had people sitting there 9 hour's a day pumping out the quality images much more frequently, THEN I would place my subscription on recurring, rather than give a bonus on-top of whatever yearly income these artists have.

My life > everyone else's, I'd rather save and keep my money for good reasons ( like 30+ new images :D).

This many comics at the same time is just ridiculous.

Again, you're going off topic and you're misinformed. But okay, let's discuss this.

Since this site started, frequency of updates has increased from 1 or 2 a week to 3 to 5 a week. At 3 or 4 times a week, the site is practically updating every other day. The only way things can faster is updating every day (and some sites charge 25- 30 a month for that). But everyone understands speed isn't the issue ( if JAB updated every hour but it's not Ay Papi then it's too slow). The feature comic is going slow, but don't assume updates are slowing down or becoming inconsistent because that's not true.

Now granted it's not Ay Papi ( and we've discussed this tirelessly in previous threads ). However since he and mark are also working on DA, things for AP are slower. JAB didn't predict this or purposely done this to annoy anyone. Please be patient and understand all comics are being done as fast as possible.

As for why you have membership, JAB respects everyone's reasons and appreciates all your support (the only thing we don't tolerate is piracy). We know money is tight in this economy, so thank you for your continued support and patronage.
