One of my friends and myself were reading Ay Papi, and around issue 5 he then asks me about what the heck were the aliens doing there. I myself never got this. Any particular reason why the aliens were added?

JAB originally had an over-arching story centered around Richard slowly going insane from his constant dreams about these aliens pestering him, which are not real but actually just a figment of his diseased mind. In fact, I believe it was in issue #21 that the depths of his mental breakdown were going to become apparent, as he begins wearing an aluminum foil hat and speaking in tongues. Issue #26 has his first murder, when he pushes Kim off the top of the office building (he thinks she's actually an alien spy trying to get valuable information out of him), and he gradually begins killing other characters off through the rest of the series. Issue #30 was planned as the final issue, when he finally kills Julia and Claire, then commits suicide himself.

However, I believe he's rewritten the story to push back when Richard finally starts to show his crazy to issue #29, with issue #50 being the new final issue.

As GemLord has said, the aliens aren't real. But since he's gone out of his way to tell you 'his' version of this story, I figure I'd do the same.

You see, the aliens are dead and now exist in a spiritual form. Richard's mind is diseased, so it was easy for the aliens to invade his weak mind. Originally, they were the ones that convinced Richard to fuck his daughter (which was suppose to happen earlier in the series. Note the amount of unnecessary buttsex lately.) but warns him of the consequences. Supposedly Richard and Bob (who also was visited by the Marvin the Martian) decided to exchange daughters at the camping grounds to avoid having their daughters give birth to mutants (or whatever they call the Winglenuts). After the camping trip, Julia and Natalie were pregnant with Dick and Bob's child. Dick and Bob convinced the kids to have an abortion. They would have gotten away with all this if it weren't for the Scooby Doo gang, who discovered the plot while investigating the wrong haunted house. Claire filed a cease and desist ord.. I mean.. she filed for divorce and ran away with Noreen. Dick and Bob (and JAB) went to jail for crimes against the alien race. Then Omega Girl blew up the world.

However, God (yes he exists) came down on JAB's computer and crashed it. This caused all of JAB's scripts and art leading up to the event to be destroyed. Now the story only exists in JAB's head and God has twisted that a bit too. Now we just don't know what the alien are really there for.. or what's coming next. Anyone reading this? No? Okay I'll go sit back in my little corner.

Aaaaaaaah, why can't there ever be a twist to stories that will be revealed in later issues. lets be patient.
BTW, gemlords' and JKR666 please don't tell the ending too soon(killjoy) if its all true I'll be really pissed at JAB. i mean "mental breakdown" thats lame. alien interference would explain a lot. JAB, just tell us to be patient and follow each issue. all will be revealed.
