I've looked through this forum and couldn't find a post about this. Instead of doing other cartoons and such, why not make one of the forum members? Like catrocks, misrhirhi, elysium, etc. Like take references from the "sexy pics of yourself" thread and make up a story. Would be real interesting to see the forum members in a comic. Granted I know that not all forum members can be included in this, as well as every forum member asking to be drawn. It's just an idea...

Perhaps Spaz means more of an Official JAB comix version with actual storylines and cohesiveness featuring forum members. I've always toyed with the idea myself.

Exactly, an official Jab comix version. I can see there's alot of creative minds here. I don't know who would draw it, but it would definitely be fun.

For instance call it "Members of the Board", have it as an office setting where Jab is the janitor who knows and sees everything and the rest of the "board" works together but having secret sexual encounters or something to that effect. As you can see I'm not that creative lol

This idea has been floated around before. However, members come and go, so it will have to be a fluid type of comix where characters can disappear. Why don't you just call it Jabville High and have everybody here as bit players. I will be the principle and every time one of the female students gets in trouble, she is sent to the principal's office.

This doesn't mean that I will draw it. But it will have to be a collaborate effort from contributing artist. Catrocks is right, we already have something like this in MAM war. The good thing about JAM wars like MAM and Good vs. Evil is that their need not be any uniformity. "Jabville High" or whatever you end up calling it will have to follow similar format, where many contribute. Otherwise, you will have to coordinate with a few artist who are willing to give their time to draw out all that people here imagine, thus bringing uniformity in the drawing styles. That would be the ideal but not the reality. The reality is that you will have to go down a MAM war format. Perhaps this will be our next JAM that we do. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. There are still monkeys to kill.

Jabville High sounds good to me.

I like the Idea. I have always been interested in seeig how others would do my Avatar in comic format. More finished and less sketchy. The Jabville High has merit, as would a super Hero Team concept with some of Jab memebers being Super Heroes and others Being the Villians. Another Idea would be as Jabville itself. Each contributer would colaberate with another, One being the artist another the writer, Inker Color etc.. Each isue would spotligt a day in the life of a few of Jabvills residants. That way people could come and go as they wish. We could of course always use avatars that made an impact in one way or another but are no longer around in subplots and such. I am doing such a thing in the writing Jam with Doctor Stormfurry's Ghost as one of the main villans.

That's a good idea too. Keep them ideas coming! The more, the better.

I'd be far more interested in the highschool jam. I just can't find a plce in the mam war. grizzled vet of two wars already. sick of war, i want my peas. but i know the only way to get peas is with a knife.

Agrees with Lib, it seems every Jam becomes a war or battle with someone of several someones jockeying to be the hero who save all of jabville, this jam could be a combo of both artist and writers, and just be viginettes of life in Jabville, where the most excited we all get is the intermural coed naked volleyball game

I actually agree with both of you. Jabville high would be a nice break from war. However, did both of you forget what high school was like? Sometimes it's war with all the social politics involved.

There would definitely have to be a stratification of sorts. We can't have just any newbie walk in and claim to be a senior in this High School. There has to be ranks. I'll just up now.
