As a paying customer, I have the right to voice my opinion Posted Image And my opinion is:

I wish there were more frequent updates, and if there were, I'd pay more to see them Posted Image

This is not me bitching or complaining about anything or anyone. This is simply me wanting to see more Jab :) Which I love :)

But in the end, it's up to the Jab team how often they update and then its up to me to decide how much money to give them to view those updates.

Right now, it takes about 3 days to get an update. To finish 1 21 page comic, that's 63 days, or about 2 months. That's 6 full comics a year (less if thre are mini comics thrown in). It takes even longer when 2 comics are updated at the same time, then its about 6 days between updates if they go every other one, and then its about 4 months to finish 1 comic.

Currently I get a subscription about once a year and catch up on the 3-5 full comix and 2-3 mini comix. If there were more updates, I would definaly subscribe more often, or even keep a renewing subscription!

Please take this as it is meant to be, a HUGE fan who only wants more Jab :)

Thanks!
Hen

I think you need to ask yourself, how long do you think it takes to create a story then actually draw it, color it, and upload it. Even if multiple people are working on it, they need to coordinate all this. Tell me of a site where you can get comparable art and story-lines.

The only complaint I have is the frequency of certain updates. Like I've said, I enjoy FL, but 3 consecutive FL updates is too much when there is a MHAN still unfinished.

Honestly, I have no clue how long it takes :) But MHAN started January 8th and its now almost three full months later and we're only 2/3s of the way through.

I love the sex in the comics, I love the taboos in the comics, but I also love the characters and the stories. The staff at Jab are VERY talented. But when a story takes 3-4 months to unfold, I lose interest in the story and it becomes just porn, one page at a time (if there is sex on the page). I feel that is a HUGE loss to the art that is Jab.

I'm just asking for more of something that I love :) And saying that I'd be willing to pay for it :)

Thanks!

Okay. I'll try to be less of a robot here.

As a paying customer, you get an update every 3 days. We've been pretty consistent with that for a while now. The site doesn't guarantee what you get to see or that you'll get a complete comic within your subscription time. That comes from what JAB decides and his ability to deliver. Farm Lessons, Omega Girl, and the Wrong House are created on a fully functional third party staff so they're on a different schedule than the other JAB comics. This does help keep the content flowing consistently for paying members, but it also makes certain comics appear to update faster than others.

As for faster updates, JAB isn't making millions in this business to run it any faster than it is now. You can partly blame piracy along with the staff's speed at delivering products. Personally, piracy is part of the growing trend in failing and closing business everywhere, but that's not really what we want to discuss here. Please understand that JAB is one artist and that products like Ay Papi, Americunt Dragon, and My HotAss Neighbor (all which are on top of the list of comics) are being completed as fast as JAB can go.

I have to admit that these delays in the MHAN feel like a kick in the nuts sometimes. I got an idea that could really soften the blow with these delays, how about some sketches? Or a little preview of the impending page? When the next MHAN or AP can't make it on time you guys could surely take a panel of it and share it with us, or maybe just a sketch or two from that page, or whatever. I think this is a fabulous idea and I'm sure everyone agrees with me.

JKR666,

Thank you for explaining things! I appreciate it :)

If I may be so bold, if you have two teams working on comics, and it takes roughly 2 months to produce a comic, couldn't you put out a complete comic 1 month from one team and then another comic the next from the other?

I know that if Jab Comix put out a full 21 page comic a month, I'd keep a renewing subscription and Jab would make $180 from me rather than $18 over the course of a year. And I'm sure that I'm not alone in this. If there are 250 more people like me, that's $45,000 a year :)

I figured that I had to try and you can't blame a girl for trying to get more Jab :)

Thanks!

Thank you for your understanding.

Okay, well I've been in the business of comics for a long time and I can tell you that it'll take a little more than two months to create an issue (Wrong House alone takes 3-4 months to finish). Then it takes longer as the series continues until the penciler can no longer draw it on a respectable timeline (or if the inker/colorist/lettering slows up a bit). Then it goes into solicitation.. and it'll take three months to a year to publish it (depending on the print company.). Since webcomics cut out the middleman, you're gonna get the pages as soon as it's completed, but it also exposes the artists and the production to the 'actual speed' of creating a comic (from writer to penciller to inker to colorist to letter to your computer).

As for a comic per month, more comics doesn't guarantee business for us. At my personal site, I am now expected to produced 12 comics by the end of this year at 3 updates a week and my numbers are still relatively small as far as membership goes. So I don't see that as a solution really. In JAB's site, I think it comes down to how fast JAB can draw. Because people aren't joining for the third party artists. All the top comics are the ones JAB has to personally draw and that where it's hurting. At this time, we're just aiming for consistency (which is producing content every three days) and that alone is a struggle.

I got a question, because your a pay site, does that mean you can put up just about any kind of content you want? I.E. beastiality? I know you did that once in FL. The reason I ask is recently a favorite free site of mine had to delete alot of comics because they had to go to advertisers. So new rules, no:Lolicon, shota, and no beastiality! Just curious.

We're limited to what the big wigs want.. but yeah.. pretty much anything that's legal in your country/state.

Can you be more specific? If you please?

Sorry, I thought this was a duplicate comment from your email. Okay, in paysites, there's more freedom in content because you don't need to deal with advertisers or such. But, there are guidelines to follow (which if you did open a paysite.. you'll know). That's all I want to say about that topic because.. it's pretty touchy.

Thanks for the support. Just to be fair, my site is relatively new so there's not much comics there. Also some of the comics are relatively short in order to allow at least one of them to finish within someone's subscription time.

And yeah, I think he was discussing his Eugenics plan to us a while back. Something about breeding/cloning perfect beings, calling himself Jab Khan, and that he'll rule the world...

here's a sample image of that discussion.

Of course the real answer is cloning monkeys. Alot of monkeys...

JKR666,

Loved your site! Especially the KinkyTales section!

You've got an awesome start to the site, and I look forward to more and more updates :) And don't worry about the size, its more about how you use it ;)

Thanks!
