This thread is for posting artwork entries ONLY, so please no commenting on this thread.

Rules:
1) No stolen artwork. All artwork must be original.
2) B/W or colored is acceptable
3) Limit the size of your entry to under 200k (preferably) and keep it in jpg format. If too large we will resize and optimize.
4) Limit one entry per contestant
5) No sequentials.
6) Entry deadline is April 21, 2010 (11:59pm EST).
7) All entries will be permanently posted in the Member's Area. By submitting an entry you acknowledge and allow your work to be posted there.
8) Voting on the contest entries will be done in the Members Area by online Poll.
9) 1st place winner receives a free 3 month membership to jabcomix and the envy of everyone.
2nd place winner receives a free 1 month membership to jabcomix and the envy of everyone except the 1st place winner :P
The winning entries will also be featured in our future JABloid flash magazine.

**NEW CONTEST POLICY**: To encourage participation and a more level playing field, contestants are ineligible to win consecutive contests from now on.

Since Niicko won our last contest, he is not eligible to win this current contest, however he will be eligible to win the next one. Niicko is still invited to participate though, as he is eligible to earn 2nd place. If he happens to win the poll, his best award will be 2nd place and the next highest poll getter will get 1st.

The theme is - JABloid sightings
We are working on a new Flash magazine.. a "JABloid" which is a tabloid dealing primarily with characters from the JABuniverse. This JABloid is featured in the plot line of Farm Lessons 15 and 16 (Luke trying to capture a UFO sighting). You are to submit one photo of a sighting of your own to this JABloid. It should be something sensational that you'd typically find in a tabloid. Examples: a photo of something weird, sci fi, infidelity, nude paparrazi shot, nipple slip, etc. Your photo MUST deal with something relatable to the JABuniverse, though not necessarily accurate to any official storylines.

1st and 2nd place winners will be featured in the JABloid. We will hand pick any others we like to also be featured, but not all entries may get placement in the final JABloid issue.

Have fun with this! We look forward to seeing all your creative entries!
