Gillygan should come out this Friday and O Girl next Monday. So.. here's a preview of some other comics coming out from JKRcomix. Gene69 isn't completed yet so I added the Wrong House in its place. Gene69 will be done on time though. Also today, I hired a new artist that'll be working on original content and some parodies. For now here's a his gallery, he'll be using a nickname at my site so I don't ruin his reputation. I hope you don't either.

And the new artist's work looks outstanding. Love the flow of his lines. Reminds me a lot of Bruce Timm's stuff with a caricature flair for exaggeration.

Just out of curiosity, how much time do you spend looking for pirate copies of your work? I've seen parts of The Great Scott Saga posted as preview material at some pay sites (usually because someone tells me about it), and it really annoys me, but, since that's a free series, I don't lose any money from it. (Although the fact that others are getting money for my work really ticks me off.) A lot of those sites don't have a clear contact section for me to complain to, although, since I wouldn't pay for such a site, I'd have no way of knowing whether they actually removed it anyway.

Sharpie: I wouldn't worry about it though, WB/DC will deal with them if properly directed.

As for searching. I personally spend around 10-30 hours a week looking (depending on time. JAB recently is helping remove a few now). Webs and Siggy's primary workload is basically searching the net for it daily. You get no sympathy out of it really. I'm just reminded that removing content helps me hire more talent for the site and keeping people working.

Anyways, so here's the cover for one of the last comics coming out this year which is called "Give Me an A". It's the exploitations of random girls for grades. I figure it'll also be cool to show their test papers and see why they need an A (which I'm working on this week).

Sinope: Well.. there's no tutorial from me really, you just need to study the late Michael Turner on wavy hair and Scott Campbell/Al Rios to create the glossy look. You can also study some anime-style drawings to create those types of curves. Like in here:

Time to go through my dangergirl comics again. Practice practice practice! Drawing on the Cintiq has killed all my joy of random sketch practicing... I'll crack out the old sketchbooks again.
