When people post pictures on these forums it seems one of the most common places to have the picture hosted is "imagebam". Whenever I click on one of these thumbnails, the middle of the picture is obscured by a box saying "This image has been marked as adult content. You must be 18 years of age or older to proceed." There is then an ENTER box to click on. Clicking it will remove the obstruction, but it will also open a popup for some other pornographic pages. This means that if I am browsing a page of this forum where someone has posted ten pictures, I'll have to click on ten ENTER boxes and open up at least 10 pop-ups! Not only is this incredibly annoying, I'm also worried about these popups leaving spyware or trojans or viruses or whatever.
It is obviously not really about age verification as 90% of the picture can be seen anyway, so under-age people would be able to see plenty of naughty content. It's just there to be a nuscience, covering up the dead centre of the image, and to entice you to click on a link and open up a popup.
Does everyone else have this problem? Do you all click these age verification ENTER boxes all the time?
