But if you wanna try and attract more interest to your thread why don't you span out beyond the comic book characters? Like game, anime or something along those lines lol. I like what you do, but i have no interest in comics, and i either have no idea who that character is, or not overly interested in seeing the character in what ever situation you draw them in lol. Sorry man. But that's just me lol.

Hence Why I haven't posted anything in.... (looks at thread) nearly 4 months. I've had plenty of ideas, but I need to have fun with any idea I have before I can sit down an dedicate time to it.

I have to wonder though, what program are you using and do you use the pen tool, or the brush on mouse to ink the lines. that can make a mega improvement to your lineart.

and don't look so down. It's taken me 4 or 5 years to get to the point I'm at now and I'm still not that great. Styles develop over time, some get better with more practice, others just need the right mood.

Cpl. O'hare looks cute. Good to see some furries for a change.

I don't recall a Batman/Spirit crossover MF, however after seeing your version of Batgirl I think I should investigate further!!! I enjoy how you show restraint in your work, never revealing too much just for the sake of revealing. Such decisions give the women a sexier appeal than an all out in your face T&A pin-up would be. Sorry to hear the thread isn't exploding with comments. A number of factors play into the reasons why from some being particularly busy, to losing sight of the thread as newer ones are posted, to even some folks just plain being lazy. Take some solace in knowing that the posts you do get are genuine and not just some "Ya did good." Vixen's right too, you should draw and post because you enjoy it, and expand your subject matter to include a wider variety of content, and never be afraid to try new things, from poses to styles, it will help you grow as an artist!!!

Memo: Thanks for breaking the slience and yes, this pic is much sexier than the original I did. [I might post it for the hell of it to show what I mean.] Vixxy: You're right on 2 counts, hon: 1, I should draw more for fun. (I do just not nearly enough.) and 2, I do need to expand my repertoire of characters beyond comic book stock. If you have any suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them. LIB: Lately I've been using a Sharpie to outline my pencil marks and highlighting the lines in Paintshop. If you know of a better method that can give me a better line, I'd love to hear it, especially as I move into working on my comic book. And I'm trying to settle into an artistic style, sort of an Archie/DCAU hybrid. (I like to think I'm getting closer with each pic.) Oh, and thanks for the commet about Cpl. O'Hare. Blissy: The Batman/Spirit crossover was a one shot comic back in 2007. I agree that a woman is sexier leaving something to the imagination, that and because I want everyone to see my pics are the reasons that I don't do full on T&A anymore. I'm not upset that my thread isn't 'exploding with comments'. It's just that this place used to be a lot more active and it helps keep me motivated hearing feedback on my work, good or bad. I'm always open to new things and certainly hope to grow as an artist, at least to your level, Bliss. In the meantime, here's my latest piece, Blondie setting up her new website! ENJOY!

Blissy: Thanks for the feedback, darlin'! Here's my latest work where Fanboy and Mary Jane go see "Iron Man 2"! (which was quite awesome, btw) I know this image doesn't have the background or interesting poses I need to work on but these Fanboy/MJ pics are more for fun, as Vixxy suggested. My next one will feature them though.

Neither do I, but there's the First Wave series going on right now that has Bats, Spirit, and Doc Savage together (and written by Brian Azarello to boot--his 100 Bullets is still one of my fave series).
