Well, Fusion's going to be in her first crossover event. The folks who did Crossoverlord are doing another series that will be a crossover of several webcomics, and Fusion was invited along for the ride. There's a core group who pounded out a story summary, but everyone involved has a hand in shaping the story and tweaking the details. Plus pretty much everyone has a say in scripting--particularly for their individual characters. Art style will vary from page to page, since each of us will be contributing pages in our own style. Right now, the team members are being revealed, 1 every two weeks, and today was Fusion's reveal. I figured I'd share the pic I did for her reveal. For those interested in checking out the project, you can see the reveals (as well as the original Crossoverlord in its entirety) at Crossoverlord. (The new series with Fusion is set to start sometime in October.)
On an unrelated note, I'll have the first 5 pages of Issue #4 up probably sometime Friday (that's 4 days before the 5th page goes up at Drunkduck--you Jabbers are special that way).
Anyway, here's the reveal shot I did for Fusion. (For those wondering about the layout, I left the extra dead space on the bottom to accommodate the text that would be added by the project leads.)

Sounds interesting. Damn, not till October.. -counts off finger how many months away- Even though It's two months.. I have a bad feeling I'll forget >< You'll remind us in Oct, right? Lol.

JAB has a cynical view of crossovers but I think it's pretty cool. Particularly if the fans want it. In this case, I'm interested in how CrossLords interprets Fusion here.

As promised, here's the first 5 pages of Fusion #4. For those hoping to see some action--and a true villain--I think you'll like the way this issue kicks off. For those looking for a bit more exposition and a little more info on who the Purple Principal was, check out Savunn's blog (http://savunnslife.blogspot.com). Also, files for the print issue of Issue #2 have been sent to the printer, so I'm hoping the issue will go live for ordering in the next week or two.
