I saw this flick and regardless of what the (watered down - crappy foreign film loving-more supposedly Sophisticated) critics have to say , MOSTLY hating this flick *remember this is coming from the same critics who LIKED the cardboard acting of Twilight and New Moon*.

Megan McArdle at The Atlantic // sounds like a Quack only because she tossed in a rather Dumb Pov . "The movie's accents also deserve their own paragraph, because they are hilarious." here is a hint genius the flicks we see these days have actors who mix and match , real audiences rarely notice this . i took my buddy from college to see this and we had no issue , SEEING AS HOW we both know actual greek people and other island dwellers . *idiotic statement by a critic and not winning any points for the cause ....* ; not to mention how blatantly Racist it sounds , i have arab-middleastern friends and the accents in Question sounded more greek+hillbilly .

as far as the issue with the script ? ; honestly it was not predictable , and considering the "great" movies that Critics have enjoyed which have dissapeared after the first week of opening ? this does not matter . it was only close to one thing WHICH IS NOT A MOVIE . what you ask ? God of WAR 1-2 .
simple as that .

wow , just WOW .... again , i took a pal to see this and i am willingly paying my 15 dollars to see it in 3D on monday . Neeson's Haggard majesty ? Really ??? he had the same tone as in Narnia and his stage presence was amazing , Fiene's (hades) was pure hell and going towards his Voldemorte persona . sam is branching out and definatly not a method actor , he gave me the impression he was an everyman . Pete Postlethwaite and the entire cast DESERVES a formal apology from this critic . they have done nothing to deserve this kind of banter .

I find it ironic that they'd compare it to God of War.. because I was saying yesterday that none of the scenes from the movie was anywhere near as good as any scene from God of War 3. Plus Spartacus: Blood and Sand is a TV series that also trounces this in scale of coolness. I didn't see New Moon to know what the acting's like though. I don't mind the senseless killing, or how stupid the monsters/villains were, or how improbable some of the plotline is; but this is a remake of a better movie and its interpretation of the original was.. god awful. As a movie on its own, It's okay but not very memorable considering the weak execution of each scene

Repo was a musical masterpeice that mixed equal parts of THE CHRONICLES OF Lib (our beloved mayor) + SAW 1-3 + Rocky horror picture show .
