in other news my movie dollars went happily to the #1 spot this weekend
terry, dolph, jet,steve ,charisma, sly and the governaTOR did the best they could ...
never a dull moment in it , my only complaint ....

it was waaay too fucking short 1H50m

every peice of action was thought OUT SIDE THE BOX , so you really dont see it coming.

Went to see Scott Pilgrim vs the World and I can't say I liked it. Everyone who liked it have tried explaining the plot to me.. but really it was just too fast and too ridiculous to follow for me. (Which works well with Hot Fuzz and such, but not this one.) It's not a bad movie though, it's just not a movie I prefer.

And while he gets the girl in the end. He basically dumps the nice girl and ruins his band's multi-million dollar deal. I get it. It's about self respect, but he could have done all this AFTER his band blew up big. At least live the rockstar life of endless drugs and women before you blow up your boss. Come on!!!!

I saw it yesterday and I have to say that I DID like it. It was a huge blast of fun that had me laughing a lot!!! As for the plot? Well there basically isn't any other than Scott Pilgrim vs. the World for the love of a girl, and yes in the end self respect. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be to be honest and all the video game references were a cute touch that I understood being a gamer myself!!! Anyways if you haven't seen it go see it if you want to just have some fun and laugh. There's no point looking for a though provoking plotline or the like.
