came back from it last night , i hate cera as an actor and as a person ( because he keeps picking shitty nerd-bucket roles) atleast justin long tries to be a bad ass and Jay Baruchel tries not to be a colossal screwup actor . that being said , cera's only good role ever was the one where he has the bad-ass personality

i liked the movie , unfortunately i dont like how NOT WILLING to fight for something she was... that to me was 1/3 of the girls i dated... shows no backbone or personal integrity and overall makes her a real coward in the story

Well I just didn't like it. For me, Cera didn't come off as someone I liked and being bad ass with absolutely no background in where it came from.. it just left me confused.

and unfortunately you got friends who won't help him fight these idiots, you got an asian chick who was wrongfully mistreated throughout the story (it only made me hate Cera more and more), you got an ex-girlfriend who has no real purpose in being in the movie, and a music producer that would have set him and his band up for life. He's a rocker! When's the last time a rocker was faithful to one chick? Maybe when he's old.. okay, but not at this moment! And I get that this is a mindless movie, but then there's the Vegan battle (and I gotta say all the battles were lame. I was hoping for at least ONE decent fight.) where the vegan is trying to explain how he's got powers. Really? In this story where the first boyfriend is throwing fire? Then they started explaining the rules, like how only Cera can kill the exes (or turn these people into coins). I mean if this is so senseless.. why are you wasting my time with these moments? It's one of those movies that relies heavily on the.. the.. I dunno.. but whatever it is.. it's got people enjoying the movie.

its a whole new generation , man these kids dont like brawn and fist fights by bodybuilder types or even athletic types , just look at the films we have been forced to endure (every action flick where the male is NOT UP TO stallone/willis/arnold/Keifer sutherland bodyforms)

remember , this is a world now where we have shiney vampires who cant even get their cock hard, where hollywood is raping the classics and devaluing our cinematic culture ...dont expect anything to be realistic , cus i have yet to see a vegan who is as healthy as that guy *seriosly they are all cardbord thin, for fucks sake*

I agree though, movies are rapidly degrading into something very ugly, but that's because the industry is rapidly losing money. Hell they're milking Avatar again as if it didn't make enough money the first time around. As for Batman, it's not just movies. It's redefined games (with Arkam Asylum), TV (Batman), and cartoons (Batman Animated). It's the single successful brand in the last twenty years. It's also the one brand that's been milked to death. In movies, cartoons, games, etc.. you'd think the well was dry but they still keep milkin' it away... and I can't for the life of me understand why the media isn't sick of Batman by now.
