I know that you can chande you password and such, but I'm not sure if you can change your name on this account. You may have to create a new one.

Just a question, How many post do you need to have before one can change the name? I like my name just wondering?

From the guidelines:
PM priviliges are also tied to post count, but I believe a new feature of IPB3 will let us change that to a time based system, where a member who is here for X months may send PM's
