(Back Story I just installed Explorer 8)I was writing a long post when I was done I clicked on the spell check to find out that it was not installed on my computer (but what is funny is that I do have it installed because I checked), after I clicked the page restarted and to my horror my whole post was gone. I don't remember half of what I wrote. My question is: Is there anyway to prevent that from happening to the next person that dose not have your spell check and clicks on the feature?

More annoying than a problem.

Oh wow, so I looked into it and the spell check is actually a call to some plug in spellchecker for IE, not built into the site. Easiest fix: Use Firefox which has a built in spell checker
Yes, it's the forum compensating for the suck that is IE, which really ought to include a spell checker.

You could always copy what you've written into your clipboard if you're that worried about the text being lost, whether you're attempting to use spell check or post or whatever.

I have copied what I wrote before I spell check it.
Siggy™- I used to use Firefox but ever since they updated Explorer I prefer it.
