I guess we'll be getting to that hot pool party sooner than I thought! Probably won't be this issue ...
Things seem to have taken a turn from fantasy to reality rather quickly. I'd expect that with 21 pages, and without any Ex-lax laced card games or gang bang contests, this plot will advance quickly enough for all of us (maybe except for the G/G fantasy gang.)
While it's inescapable that incest occupies a big part of three JAB series, I find them distinctly different in themes.
- In AP, you've got an aging stud going through a mid-life crisis, and being provided with an over-abundance of temptation. Of course, he seems to be soon sharing his cure with some other similarly afflicted fathers and maybe co-workers.
- By contrast, the FL crowd seems to be playing out the free loving reputation of the hills, where television did not apparently arrive in time to deliver the concept of monogamy. There does not appear to be an issue of incest, just an attitude of loving the one you're with!
- Now the MHAN crowd seems to have some repressed adults who have tied down life styles, that are ready to explode and burst those bonds. The parents seem to be playing out the conflicts of the sixties, with Sharona's family being the aging love children, and Wong's being the repressed work ethic driven prototypes. I can see it playing out as a love fest, and while I can see Sharona being constantly pursued (and even often caught!) by lusting males, in Wong's eyes she can still remain his goddess with an aura of purity. It will be interesting to see how this line is approached but not crossed.
