Looking for a writer.

<My imagination tells me the song starts with a quiet drum beat and a piano. Standard Timing maybe 4/4 I will have to test that on my sax to see if it fits at a later time.
After a few riffs the woman would come in her voice barely above a whisper…somewhere around a mid range tenor tone.>

Singer : Why?

<Wait 8 beats then repeat>

Singer : I know you very well, you never kiss and tell,
But the look now on your face, is such a big disgrace.
She didn’t treat you right, you were always in a fight,
Now she broke your heart, tore it all apart.
But please tell me… <Here the beat would increase to more of a techno feel a slow build up with the synthesizer coming in to match the pace of the piano and drum beat would start hitting harder.

Singer : Why? <Drawn out again while the beat increases and more sounds are added>

Singer : Can’t you see <Drawn out as the singers voice climbs from a mid tenor to a high soprano and the music all except the piano climbs with her …almost like a woman on the verge of hysteria>

Singer : ME!!! <Drawn out in the highest range for 16 beats>

Chorus : Can’t you see my plea?
Back up : (why can’t you see, why can’t you see,) <Behind singer>
You have to see me!
(You never see, you never see,) <The bold would be an emphasis on that word>
I can’t help that I’m so shy,
(I’m so shy, you know I’m shy,)
There is no reason why!
(Be my guy, please be my guy,)
Singer and Backups at the same time : I’ll always give you love,
I promise I won’t shove!
Singer alone : Just open your heart and see…<Drawn out like above>

Singer : Me! <this would be in a quiet more subdued voice, as if she was even surprised by her outburst, meantime the instruments fade back to a quieter level, but the beat remains>

Singer : “I watched you all your life, I’d gladly be your wife.
But I can’t make the move, you leave me so confused.
I’m patient for your words, but my heart you haven’t heard.
I’d do anything for you, there’s nothing I won’t do!
My heart is tightly wound, my love you haven’t found.
I’d hold you day and night, with you I’d never fight.

Singer : So why won’t you see…. <Build up as above>

Singer : ME!!! <Hold that note!>

<Repeat Chorus>

<Small rift here…maybe a minutes worth for the heavy techno beat to sink in>

Singer : Our love is overdue, and I still watch you.
Someday I’ll be brave, your heart I will save.
This I do swear, I’ll always be there.
Waiting for you now, so we can make a vow.
I want you to feel free, I hope you come to me.
But first you have to see… <you know the routine>

Singer with chorus in the background : ME! <Again subdued voice and immediately after the back up singers by themselves.>
Back up : Why won’t you see, You don’t ever see.
I’m so shy, please be my guy.
Why won’t you see, you don’t see me.
I’m so shy, please be my guy.

(Repeat)

Back up : Oh please won’t you see…
Singer joins back up : Me! <Everything ends here>

Now…you’ll have to forgive me if this is more then you wanted…I got a bug in my head and it had to come out.
If we decide to collaborate together…I can’t guarantee everything else will be this detailed. Like I said, this has been burning in my brain and I finally got it on paper.
You don’t have to use it the way it is written, and if we agree, I would want credit for it even though you may be paying me for it…It would help me get a little recognition…I’m trying to be a writer but no experience, no credentials…no chance.
Don’t worry…I don’t want royalties or anything <lol> just for it to be known I wrote it.
