Hello everyone,
    I was surfing through this forum and I couldn't help but wonder if creating some new catagories might make it into a more interesting place to come and socialize. Now I know that some of you have requested such things as Artist community request and I have thought about that as well. However, much of my thinking recently has been in creating other type of venues.  I have an idea as to what I would like to see, but I am more interested in what YOU would like to see.  Put your suggestions here.

Hmmm . . . what other types of venues Jab? Perhaps if we knew what you are thinking it would help us to understand what types of ideas you are looking for from us.

Well, I don't know what you guys would like.  However, some ideas (since this is a cartoon porn website) would be to have a board just dedicated to commemerating cartoon porn art history.  Another board can be a resource for artist looking for individual improvement.  It could be made up of various boards such as:

1.life drawing

2.Caricatures

3. Perspective

4. Car design

5. Model sheets

And all this can be under the major catagory of "JAB's school of Fine Porn Art"

I can also create other boards under the dicussion catagory such as World Affairs, Theology and Science.  Although they have nothing to do with porn art, or perhaps they do, I thought that people might want them. However, I was somewhat hessitant in bringing these subjects up for fear of making this forum too controversial.  

That's what I had in mind.  However, if this does get voted in, I might just do the art stuff and not the latter, unless there is an overwhelming request for it.

I think this is a good idea. Another suggestion would be an Astrology forum, maybe sex and relationship related. I do astrology for friends, neighbors, and family and always thought it would be a good forum on a board.

Just another thing to think about, as if you don't have enough already!!!

Espero que no te moleste que escriba en español, pero es que para poder expresar las ideas pues pensé que sería mas fácil así- bueno como dije desde que entré a JAB forum, yo no siempre dibujo para adultos, y es por eso que estaría bien que el foro de -Fan Art- lo dividieras en dos secciones (Osea hacer dos foros nuevos) uno para el porno en dado caso y otro para el arte Regular, eso resultaría bien para aquellos que no olo dibujamos porn- Obviamente eso pondría mas orden y tambien para que la gente del foro comeinze a postear y sobretodo ver nuevas cosas

Ahora con respecto a lo que dijiste sobre temas de Teología, y etc..., opino que sería algo muy muy bueno, ya que tambien habemos muchso que nos agradan esas largas conversaciones acerca del sistema social y etc...- Yo tengo dos que tres escritillos que también quiero compartir

También, bueno he visto en algunos foros que cuentan con un sistema de "Hosting" para que no tengas que uploadear tus imagenes en Imageshack y esas paginas, eso seria genial, ya que nos estaríamos evitando el subir y luego pegar el link y todo ese chorote, solo como una recomendacion, yo aun no tengo ningun problema con nuestro actual sistema pero podrñia mejorar un poco

Quizas tambien sería bueno un foro especial para comics, no crees?, siempre me ha parecdo bueno que el foro lo tenga, y los que tu mencionaste como el "life drawing" tambien suena muy chido... hmmm, bueno creo que por el momento es todo lo que se me ha ocurido, ojala y lo tomes en cuenta

EDIT: Un foro para hablar sobre video juegos o programas de television estaria muy muy bien!

Mmm... Don't you think it will looks much like the famous Drawing Board ?
I think this place should stay the special porn art... I'm not sure it would be cool to have to many other drawing parts for soft and normal stuff (only one should be fine).

I'm not an artist.... but I love the art here! Your's Jab and all the others! Sometime I'd like to ask for a special request from artists, like a avatar or a personnel pic for some reason or another, but I always hold back because I don't want to be rude or be thought an art thief!! That's a catagory I'd like to see.... As far as new catagories or even whole new sections, I'm going to cast my vote now as a yes! I like new thing and I think this would be cool, like the new rankings. Your art brought me here, Jab! But it's your Forum and your Chat that really keeps me here! I feel like I have this whole other family!

I think it's a great idea for the forum to expand in such a way i'm all for it. Seb's i think the art here is great but for an artist that wants to grow and expand there's more than just drawing sexual situations. To have the forum grow would make even more great artist's come and post thing's they've been saving on the side not allowing other's to see. Some people are posting real life work which is phenomenal but it's getting buried under the jab related material. To have it catagorized doesn't hurt the forum and it's member's that are currently here it would draw open people who want to expand they're artistic skills. It could even suprise a couple people who want to try it who never thought they could do something in that field.

Well, we've had the writer's corner for a while and I feel that's been a great success. . . I think it got a lot of people to try something new, including me. ;)  I also love having the how to section.

So yeah, it would be great to see more expansion here, and maybe get people to try even more new things.  There's more to the creative process than just drawing fanart, even when it comes to the creation of toon porn.  And yeah, I'm sure a lot of people are looking to find ways to improve. . .

. . . so I especially think having a life drawing section would rock.  The other art-related suggested sections would be great too.  I think I've metioned a couple times that I think it would be great to introduce some drawing jam-like threads here, but I've either been too lazy or preoccupied to start any myself yet. . . I can see more incentive for such things being brought on by this.  Oh, and how about a section specifically on comics, the art of creating sequential art?  So much could be done there.  Heh, just the thought of that is making me drool, and having it all within this community would be kick-ass.  :)

I'd also think it would be interesting to see an area for the history of cartoon porn, where we could discuss the likes of "Buried Treasure," tijuana bibles, etc.  :D

As for bringing up controversy, seeing how cartoon porn tends to be a controversy in itself, I wouldn't be too concerned about introducing more.   I occasionally like to get into discussion on theology myself and I find science very interesting.  I'd love to see more discussion like a few we had in the past on fear (too bad the "what do you do when life sucks" thread got purged, there was a lot of great stuff on there).

Yeah, so that's my two cents.

Ok, I will write in English, for the ppl who do not speak spanish ;D

Since I entered JAB forum, I said that I not always draw for adults, and that's why it would be well that you were dividing the forum of Fan Art in two sections (two new forums) one for the porn in given case and other for the Regular art, that would prove well for those that not only draw porn, Obviously that would put more order and also so that the people of the forum begin to post and to see new things

Now with regard to what you said on topics of Theology, and etc ..., I think that it would be something very very good, there are many that like these long conversations about the social system and etc ...-I have two that three writings that also I want to share.

Also, I have seen in some forums that are provided with a system of "Hosting" so that you should not have that upload your images in Imageshack and these pages, that would be brilliant, we would be avoiding ourselves rising and then beat the link and all this things, only as a recommendation, I even do not have any problem with our current system but it can improve a little

OK, I've been looking at the How-To section and here are some ways that I can spit things up.  In other words, I can take some of the existing threads and move them to new boards where they will be more relevent.   Here's what the new boards would look like.



Cat:  JAB's School of Fine Porn Art

Board 1 :  Fan Art -  Undefinable---it's gotten too big for me to even know what this board means

Board 2 :  Comics 101 - a study in sequential art, includes inking and perspective

Board 3 :  Color 101 -  How best to color your work including which programs to use

Board 4 :  Animation 101-  All things relating to animation

Board 5 :  Life Drawing 101-  Post your best life drawing and have it critiqued by your peers.

Board 6 : Porn Art History 101- A look back at some of the greats who inspired us all to follow this path.

Board 7 :  The Morgue -   A resource center for artist that includes model sheets, artist links and many other things.

Board 8 :  Design 101 -   Everything from Car design to prop design, such as guns, dildos and hand-held teleporters.


Ok, that's all I can think of for now.  I've left some stuff out that I had mentioned earlier. However, I am just trying to get my mind organized for now.  What do you guys think of this line up?

And I'd like to see a forum section strictly for the War between good and evil! That on going saga has reached epic porportions :o and I'm having a hard time staying a breast of it! Thank God! You created the Anthology, Jab or I'd be lost! :-? It'd be cool to have one catagory for the War and another for commets! Maybe put the writer's verison in there as well

I know what would be great !
A section board just for "community project", like the everyone vs everyone and the good vs evil war.

Because the good vs evil had so much episodes that it puts some other intersting stuff to much quickly to the old pages...  :(
(sometimes we had see 3 "good vs evil" thread in the first page ! While some members post new stuff that were already in the second or the 3rd page ! And I don't think this is cool...)


Also, I would like to improve  myself in that kind of "four hands comic" (we were planning to do a new one with bedpan...)
